Singapore Zoo Tour | 2019 Travel Guide
Discover Singapore Zoo with Peter Davis and his family in Traveloka Travel Guide 2019! One of Singapore’s most popular attractions, Singapore Zoo consists of four “open concept” parks that you can explore — Singapore Zoo, River Safari, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park.
- Ah Meng Bistro -
Have breakfast with wildlife at Ah Meng Bistro (separate admission fee). Happening between 9.30 am and 10.30 am, the animals will appear at the restaurant for this unique experience.
- Animal Feeding -
When in Singapore Zoo, make sure to bring some spare change to buy some food treats for the animals. There are feeding sessions for giraffes, elephants and even the white rhinos. Get there before the session starts.
- Reptopia -
Home to over 60 species of reptiles and amphibians, you can find some of the rarest spiders, snakes and lizards at Reptopia.
- River Safari -
Nestled between Singapore Zoo and Night Safari is the River Safari, a river-themed zoo and aquarium. There are two different boat rides at River Safari, the Reservoir cruise and the Amazon River quest. Tip: Head over to Amazon River quest first, and only to the Reservoir cruise if you have time to spare.
- Once Upon a River show -
Catch Once Upon a River show, featuring the loveable capybaras, pelicans and iguanas. You can also volunteer to be part of the show and interact with the animals.
- Thumbuakbar Tribal Performance -
Be sure to catch Thumbuakbar Tribal Performance, an awesome fire show to kickstart your Night Safari adventure.
- Night Safari -
The Night Safari takes you on a 40-minute, open air tram ride into the wilderness. A live commentary is also provided to give you a better understanding of the nocturnal animals.
- Walking Trail -
Other than the tram ride, you may also opt for the walking trail where you can see the nocturnal animals up close.
- Creatures of the Night show -
Creatures of the Night is a 25-minute show at the amphitheatre where you will be entertained by night-time superstar animals with their natural behavior and unique skills.
- Jurong Bird Park -
Just a stone’s throw away from the other three parks at Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park is the final stop. Expect to watch some really cool bird shows while you’re here.
- High Flyers show -
If you’re sporting enough, volunteer to interact with the birds at High Flyers show.
- Penguin Coast -
Feed the cute little penguins — from Africa, not the Arctic — at Penguin Coast.
- Kings of the Skies show -
If you’re feeling brave, head over to Kings of the Skies show where you’ll encounter some mighty birds of prey. You can also try your hand at training these raptors at the falconry.
- Lory Loft -
Visit Lory Loft, a walk-in aviary where you can meet and feed over 10 different species of lories and lorikeets. Just hold your cup and wait for them to fly to you.

Best Singapore food tour guide 2019, exploring Hawker center
Singapore food tour by BuleKulineran
So our Street Food Tour in Singapore started of course at the Hainanese Chicken Rice Tian-Tian at the Maxwell Food Center. The Hainanese Chicken Rice Tian-Tian is also awarded with a Michelin Star and became very famous. I love the slimy skin of the chicken and this very rich and tasty rice which is cooked with the chicken stock. So Hainanese Chicken Rice Tian-Tian is defenetly a place you should visit when you are in Singapore, it's just on the opposite site of Chinatown food street.
After the hainan chicken rice we had a few hours in the famous Singapore botanic garden which is astonishing, afterwards we got an ice cream in a bread on the street which you find almost everywhere in Singapore, very unique.
If I am going to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur i definitely always eat Masala dosa or also called Masala Tosai which is a southern Indian breakfast dish with potato filling in the inside and some chutneys and curry, i love it.
We started our final day with a traditional Singapore breakfast at a Hawker Centre, it's called Kaya toast. This Kaya toast is actually just a toast with a lot of butter and some coconut jam but worth to try.
Afterwards we traveled to the suburbs of Singapore to find Street food or maybe better called Hawker Center food which was recommended by a local. Here we found Beef Kwetiau which is very rich and sooo good! Worth a try!
Before leaving Singapore, we felt like we didn't had enough street food so we went back to the Maxwell hawker center where we found another food vendor awarded with the Michelin Star, here we got some Singapore Rojak which is like a very rich Salad with a peanut sauce and we got popiah which is kind of a vegetarian spring roll.
Both dishes were really rich because of the added nuts.

SINGAPORE | TRAVEL VLOG 2017 [PART 1]
Kampong Glam | Haji Lane | Tai Hwa Pork Noodles | Night Safari (Click for detailed itinerary)
Detailed itinerary:
Accomodation: Airbnb near Orchard Road
There are heaps of listings and a lot of good options depending on your budget!
1) Hai Di Lao - Hot Pot Place that opens til 6am
[
Good value for money, extremely good service and good quality food!
2) Ya Kun Kaya Toast
[
We went here for breakfast. This is a chain-store so you can go to any of the many outlets they have. Extremely good value for money and very filling breakkie! Highly recommend! The Kaya balls are amazing and you have to try their egg! The locals drink the runny egg with a straw!
3) Kampong Glam - Arab Quarter, Haji Lane
[
A very special area in SG with a lot of cultural heritage! This place is definitely worth the visit especially with all the buildings and architecture. As I said in the vlog, you can definitely feel the culture even by being in the area. Be sure to also check at Haji Lane for all things hipster and stop by #Selfie Coffee. The coffee itself is pretty bad but it's all for the novelty of having your face printed on your drink!
4) Tai Hwa Pork Noodles @ Tai Hwa Eating House
[
Michelin star pork noodles! I liked it but I did not love the dish. It was however a lot better the more you ate it! This place gets packed during lunch time so make sure you go during odd hours. We went at around 2pm on a weekday and as you can say, there wasn't really a wait at all!
5) Shopping around Orchard
There are heaps of shops and name brands that you can shop from in Orchard! This is basically the 5th Ave of Singapore! Make sure you present your passport when you spend more than SG$100 to claim your GST back at the airport! They will process everything at the shop itself and when you get to the airport, you will have to present all the receipts and the documents that the shops give you!
6) Night Safari
[
A must do! The night safari pretty much takes up the whole night. Be sure to pre-book your tickets online because it does get crowded! Plan your night and talk to the staff working there! Avoid the tram when you see long lines because it's not worth waiting for so long! Be sure to check out all the walking trails as well!
I've never been to a zoo at night so this was a very interesting and unique experience for me! The scale of the zoo is nothing like what you'd find at the Animal Kingdom in DisneyWorld but it was still a very enjoyable experience!
7) Pontian Wanton Noodles House (24 Hours)
Chain-store with multiple outlets. I tried finding a website but I can't seem to find anything. Great dried wanton noodles at a very affordable price! Portions are relatively small but it is so cheap that you can buy 2 bowls but still pay less than you'd normally pay for a proper meal!
8) Natureland Massage
[
Chain-store that opens for 24 hours as well! I noticed a lot of businessmen, especially Japanese businessmen was at this place. Massage itself was average but it was definitely a great way to wind down and relax after a long day!

01:02 - Hanamaru Sushi
Known for its really yummy and affordable sushi, we actually had a feast for a total of SGD17 per pax!
01:46 - Hokkaido Jingu Shrine
We visited the biggest shrine in Hokkaido, it's very popular during the cherry blossoms season.
02:00 - Singapore Style Kopitiam
Pretty legit, and they serve legit dishes. But we still feel like our local meals are better, and more affordable (haha!) But if you're ever in Hokkaido and miss Singaporean food, you can get your fix here!
NOBORIBETSU, HAKODATE, OTARU
04:13 - Noboribetsu
The hot springs here are really popular, and the River Oyunuma Natural Footbath was really super super shiok... Especially in the colder weather!
05:24 - Daimon Yokocho
Full of yummy places to eat, especially the stores serving Izakaya.
05:41 - Goryokaku Park
Check out the star shaped park, and of course, the beautiful cherry blossoms! Great place to chill out in the morning~

Have you ever had Nikka Whisky? It's brilliant, smooth and super good. Also, FREE WHISKEY!!! You get to try three different kinds~
