A tiny Chinese village located around 20km outside of Kuching, Siniawan comes alive over the weekend when it holds its Night Market. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the Old Siniawan Bazaar- its charm lying in its wooden shophouses and the soft glow of the Chinese lanterns strung up the length of the street. Street food vendors line the pavement- sticky barbecue pork, traditional kueh (Malaysian snacks or sweets), smoky satay- you won’t go hungry here.

Siniawan is an old and once forgotten town 21 km away from Kuching. Recent years, efforts have been made to revive the traditions and cultures as well as the night market of this old town which is seeing results and tourists are now flocking in during the weekends and local economy is greatly improved.
Siniawan is good to see at night but definitely better to feel during day time … the old wooden shophouses are good story tellers.

There has variety of food, the karaoke activities and the historical shops. The atmosphere is very unique and nostalgic. Feels like you are in Hongkong.

Bagi yg berkunjung ke Khucing Sarawak jgn lupa singgah ke siniawan night market. Asli guys di sana kalian bisa cobain byk makanan khas dr negri tetangga ini. Siniawan nght market di buka pada hari jumat dan sabtu, dr jam 6 sore sampai jam 11 malam waktu setempat guys. Dan khusus hr minggu di buka jam 4 sore sampai 11 mlm. video kali ini aku di bantu papa utk merekam suasana di sana, karna di sana sgt ramai guys. 其实从古晋市区开车半小时就会到石隆门的新尧湾老街夜市了，这是一座百年古镇，虽然很短，但它的氛围不输台湾各个夜市，本身非常享受这个环境，在这里度过了愉快的美食之夜。
