Wando County Promotional Video , 2018
There is Korea's best marine park with more stories than national parks.
It's the heaven of algae and the breakdown of abalones! Clean Sea Capital of Korea
I meet Wando, the island of health.
Wando, History Museum in the Island
A long time and people,
Facing vivid historical moments.
Meeting Jang Bo-go, Korea's first world owner, 1,200 years ago,
Where you can see and feel his spirit of challenge.
Wando is a place that faces a living history.
The Lord of Glowhart Island, which has been untouched for hundreds of years,
Korea is the only place where 780 species grow naturally.
From Cheonghwa-ri Gugyedung to Jeongdo-ri!
It is foggy at the port in front of it and reflected on the mountain behind it.
All kinds of flowerless lights are better in the showerheads and congovers.
Enough to call it the abalone
It is here that 38 percent of Wando abalone is produced in Nohwado Island.
A hundred years ago, from a child to an adult,
I want you to know that the people of the island
The Holy Land of the anti-Japanese movement, the Land of Liberation!

On the autumn road of Sarang
Cheongsan Island is a great place to enjoy deep and long thoughts.
You have to walk slowly along the zigzag path to get to you.
The tranquil scenes of a secret island
Sinjido cleans the traveler's ears with the sound of crying sand.
The path around the island is one way to solve the hidden beauty of the island.
The untainted nature of Myeongsasimni spread out before your eyes
The emerald waters and pine trees that make the beach look better.
Today, there is another Myeongsasimni resembling Sinji Myeongsasimni.
The blue breathing of hundreds of years old sailors washes up until the old days.
In the middle of the ocean,
There is a golden landscape that looks like one side of Haegeumgang River was moved.
Even a genius sculptor who has suffered from the nature of the earth for hundreds of millions of years.
A place where awe and admiration can not be lost in front of the eight golden zones.
Wando
Each of the islands adds spice to the traveler.
Saint-ild-day is a typical example of this.
Gogeumdo Island is an island that remembers and misses Chungmugong Yi Sun-sin more than any other place.
It is the place where Chungmugong's last visit was made
This is an old island where the remains of Admiral Yi Sun-shin were enshrined for 83 days.
The Battle of Noryang, the last battle in the Imjin War, was actually begun and ended.
Black goats that grow on about 200 kinds of herbs in Sammunsan Saminsang, Yaksan Mountain
The Dongbaek Forest passed the healing forest and was in harmony with the Gasa Beach.
Yaksan is the perfect island for taking care of your body and healing mind.
There are many reasons to visit Wando each.

SMOOTHEST SAND BEACH in Wando (완도), South Korea-Travel Vlog/Video~!!!
Hi Everyone!
Welcome back to all those who are returning and welcome to all those who are new~
This video is the sixth part of the eight-part series I am doing on my trip to Asia: South Korea in Summer 2017 (if you would like to skip forward to the part of the trip, you can do so at 0:53!)
I know it is not Wednesday! Life kind of rushed by me before I realized! Haha
Anyways, I will put all of the places I went to down below!! If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to let me know!~
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
July 14, 2017
--We woke up really early (as you can see) to drive down from Gwangju to Wando (my mom's friend picked us up and drove us down since he lives in Wando and wanted to show it off to us haha)
--Once we arrived, we ate! (My sister ended up eating EVERYTHING which was a first haha, must have been really good in her mouth)
--Afterwards we walked across the street where there was a waterfall to take pictures and relax for a bit since we had time before checking into our motel.
--We also stopped by Jungdo-ri which is a section of Wando but instead of sand where the water meets the land, it was a bunch of rocks! It was super cool and really pretty to see.
--After taking a bunch of pictures, we finally made it to our motel, where we changed, got our tubes pumped, and went to the Myeongsasimni beach. We were soso lucky that our motel was right by the water! Wow, I played in the water like I was a child again haha. The waves were nice and I truly had a lot of fun!
--Once we were done playing, we came back to shower and eat lunch. We all knocked out for a good hour or two afterwards LOL. We only woke up because my mom called for us to come out because there was a nearby cafe that served snow bingsoo (Cafe Ditto).
--So we went out and got oreo and mango bingsoo. It was okay haha
--We then strolled around the beach for awhile, took pictures, played with the nearby dogs & cats/kittens, caught tiny beach crabs until we went back inside
--While waiting for a grill to open up to eat dinner, we watched Okja which was interesting haha and saw some miniature fireworks
--The food was AMAZING, so delicious, I ate so much haha I slept right away (food coma)
July 15, 2017
--The next day we woke up and went on a Wando Tour which consisted us going up a monorail to the top of the Wando Tower (observation deck) and just taking a bunch of pictures and walking around (I remember this day being really hot and the kids really didn't want to do much and wanting to go home LOL)
--Afterwards, we went to eat lunch (had to stop by like two other places before coming to this place since all the chicken were eaten due to the First Day of Summer). We ended up having a four course meal that all consisted of chicken at this place haha, it was soo good but wayy too much haha
--Then to relax before heading home, we came to Haenam Daeheungsa and relaxed by the river (usually you have to pay a fee to get in but we said we were going to the cafe up the hill and we were able to get in for free...too bad we didn't really go to the cafe since we were all so full LOL).
--We also ended up briefly stopping by a mountain and being able to see Jejudo and all the other islands that were down south of South Korea, but we didn't stay long because we kept getting attacked by bugs..LOL
--After all of this, we finally went back up to Gwangju and literally knocked out as soon as we got back to Grandma's house haha.
Overall, I'm glad I went and got to get to know this little city. It is actually an island that's connected to South Korea by a bridge. I recommend people to come here if you're looking for a good beach to go to!!
OTHERWISE STAY TUNED UNTIL SATURDAY TO TRAVEL TO BUSAN~!
