Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra
We went to Lisbon portugal for a short trip, we also took a tour to Sintra and Cascais. There is nothing that I dislike about this beautiful country. The public transportation is frequent and easy, the food is great and the locals are awesome.

Cascais is a coastal town and a municipality in Portugal
Cascais (Portuguese pronunciation: [kɐʃˈkajʃ]) is a coastal town and a municipality in Portugal, 30 kilometres (19 miles) west of Lisbon. It is a cosmopolitan suburb of the Portuguese capital and one of the richest municipalities in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 206,479,[1] in an area of 97.40 square kilometres (37.61 square miles).[2] The former fishing village gained fame as a resort for Portugal's royal family in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Nowadays, it is a popular vacation spot for both Portuguese and foreign tourists.
It is located on the Estoril Coast (also known as the Portuguese Riviera), in the Greater Lisbon subregion.[3] It has an airport for general aviation serving the Lisbon Region in Tires (S. Domingos de Rana), the Cascais Aerodrome, that also offers domestic scheduled flights by Aero VIP.Beautiful places to travel to game : settlement of the territory today known as Cascais dates to the late Paleolithic, as indicated by remnants encountered in the north of Talaíde, in Alto do Cabecinhown and the surrounding lands were owned by a succession of feudal lords, the most famous of whom was João das Regras (died 1404), a lawyer and professor of the University of Lisbon who was involved in the ascension of King John I to power as the first King of the House of Aviz.
The castle of Cascais was likely constructed during this period, since by 1370, King Ferdinand had donated the castle and Cascais to Gomes Lourenço de Avelar to hold as a seigneurial fiefdom.[4] These privileges were then passed on to his successors, among them João das Regras and the Counts of Monsanto, and later the Marquess of Cascais.[4] Meanwhile, despite its conquest and sack by Castilian forces in 1373, and blockade of the port in 1382 and 1384, Cascais continued to grow beyond its walls.[4] By the end of the 14th century this resulted in the creation of the parishes of Santa Maria de Cascais, São Vicente de Alcabideche and São Domingos de Ranum pequeno avião caiu em uma área residencial perto de Lisboa.

The Seven Wonders of Portugal: (Portuguese: Sete Maravilhas de Portugal) is a list of cultural wonders located in Portugal:
Lisbon, Tagus River. (Lisboa-Rio Tejo)
Capital of Portugal.
1 - Jerónimos Monastery; 2 - Belém Tower
These historic buildings belong to everyone and we are taking advantage of the Internet to make them more accessible to a wider audience. Since cultural activity is a powerful means of abolishing barriers and bringing people together, our ancient buildings must be recognised as a precious resource, connecting us with the richness of the past. Such buildings are a vital part of our identity.
The Jerónimos Monastery, the Tower of Belém and the Chapel of St. Jerome have the potential to become lively and stimulating places. In order for this to happen, they need not only to be recognised as belonging to all humanity, but also to become part of the day-to-day lives of those who live and work around them. It is those closest to the buildings who can take on the responsibility of protecting this unique part of our heritage. We believe that it is by doing this that people start to become aware of the universal nature of culture. By acknowledging our heritage at the local level, this awareness can then spread until it becomes regional, national, and eventually universal.
The year 2001 is an important moment in the history of the Jerónimos Monastery. It is with great pride that earlier this year we celebrated the anniversary of the laying of the first stone of the monastery on 6th January 1501. We want to share with everyone the 500th anniversary of the Jerónimos Monastery.

Lisbon Mouraria Properties
Terraços das Olarias is the latest phase of Amouraria, the multi-million euro regeneration of one of Lisbon’s most authentic neighbourhoods into a superb collection of residential apartments, private wellness facilities and commercial space.
The location of the Terraços das Olarias is superb, in the heart of the city just 205m from Martim Moniz square yet private enough too, away from the main thoroughfares.
There are 20 apartments available in total, almost all with outside space and with interior sizes ranging from 58-131 sqm. Some of the apartments enjoy fantastic views towards Castelo de São George.
Owners at Terraços das Olarias will be able to enjoy a private pool surrounded by a lush garden full of local flora and fauna. Very few buildings in central Lisbon are able to boast such facilities, and the only other building in the area that has a combined pool and gardens is also part of the Amouraria project, which is already sold out.
Within a district called Mouraria, one of the oldest and most authentic neighbourhoods in Lisbon, this period renovation is neighboured by buildings with architecture dating back to Moorish times.
Since 2010 Mouraria has been an area of focus for the Lisbon municipality due to is central location and proximity to the River Tagus. With public and private investment pouring into the area, it is primed to be a top-performing district in terms of growth over the next 10 years.

Our First AirBnb Experience in Setúbal, Portugal, Famous Fish Market, Caves, Wineries and More!
Video shot on December 27th, 2018.
We use AirBnB all the time to help save costs on staying in the places we visit, but never tried the AirBnB experiences...until today. I must say we were truly impressed. Our AirBnB experience gave us an intimate look at a beautiful coastal town Portugal has to offer.
We started the day visiting the famous fish market Mercado do Livramento, which had it not been for our local tour guide we wouldn't have had the intimate feel of the market interacting with all the vendors. We tried a traditional fisherman's breakfast including a rosé wine and pork sandwich. It was a good way to start the day. Then we headed off to check out the beautiful beach at the nature park of Arrábida. We explore some caves along the coast. It was super cool and we were the only ones there! It was great being some place that was not full of tourists!
Probably one of the best parts of the trip was the amazing lunch that we had. We went to local place that served a huge variety of local and traditional Portuguese food! It was my first time ever trying octopus! Which by the way, is pretty tasty. Also, I will probably never forget the delicious clams we had.
Driving through the winding roads of the park was a very tranquil. The views were breathtaking from the top and it felt good to breath in some fresh sea air. At the end the day we visited this really cool winery, called Bacalhôa, which had it's own museum and the owner painted these statues out front in this color blue that he had patented himself!
All in all it was a wonderful day, and considering the amazing value and fun time we had, we will definitely be using AirBnB experience again.
I want to give a big thank you to our our local guide, Miguel. He started his own tour company and if you find yourself in Portugal, do yourself a favor and book an experience with him. You will discover Portugal in a much more intimate way and learn so much about the country.

Castle of Loulé, Loulé, Faro, Algarve, Portugal, Europe
Castle of Loulé is a castle in the municipality of Loulé, in the Portuguese Algarve. Classified a National Monument, since 20 June 1924, three towers remain within the cordon of walls, the remnants of the alcaldaria located within the structure. The Romans first occupied the site, then the remnants of a local castro around the 2nd century, and transformed it into a defensible military fortification and politico-administrative center. In 715, the site was occupied by the Moors. The site was conquered in the 11th century by Ferdinand, King of León, but held for little time. It was definitively occupied in 1249 by D. Paio Peres Correia. Several years later (1268) Afonso III had the area populated after reconstructing and expanding the walls. During this period two of the main towers, including the keep tower, were constructed, but the six gates suggest the existence of other towers (only ruins remain). A foral (charter) was issued in 1266 from Lisbon by Afonso III of Portugal. Between 9–12 April 1359, King Peter I overnighted at the alcadaria. In 1422 or 1462, Henrique de Meneses, 1st Count of Loulé re-built the towers and walls of the castle. A new foral was issued by Manuel of Portugal in 1501. King Sebastian of Portugal overnighted on 29 January 1573. The castle was damaged during an earthquake in 1969. The site was taken-over by the Instituto Português do Património Arquitetónico, on 1 June 1992, under Decree 106F/92 (Diário da Republic, Série IA, 126). In 2001 a protocol was signed between the municipal council and the DGEMN in order to facilitate the protection and conservation of the patrimony in the municipality, that included the castle grounds. This document was supplemented on 18 January 2013 (Diário da República, Série II, 13, Anúncio de Procedimento 232/2013) relative to the remodeling of the Praça D. Afonso III, Rua D. Paio Peres Correia and Largo das Bicas Velhas (Chafariz). The remains of the castle and walls are visible from the roads Rua da D. Paio Peres Correia, Rua das Bicas Velhas, Rua da Barbacã and Largo D. Afonso III, as well as incorporated into the buildings. The majority of the walls are integrated into the buildings of the growing city, outside the perimeter of the original walls.
