Assagao gave me reward again to keep the village clean .

Every month we collect 3 to 4 tons of garbage from door to door from Assagao and segregated it in happy home community center run by live happy NGO. WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT OF LOCAL PANCHAYET .So as you'll witness some people are not supporting this cause have contaminated the door step of the center ( HAPPY HOME ) by dumping garbage in front of Happy Home. Luckily got one of the ward member who was passing from that side after stopping him and asking question on garbage his reply was that he it self having problem in his locality being a member of Panchayat he cant solve the problem that is how the assagao panchayat function so i request all the Assagaokars to please please unit because we need support to preserve ,restore and protect our village other wise its getting polluted and sold out in the hands of land mafias.

A visit to my Native place Thuvopisu village chapter 1

Shut down the busy n hustle life of cities n went to my native village to rejuvenate n b lost in the nature. This video is taken while going to the paddy field. which took us nearly 3 hour of trekking to reached the field, after panting n gasping we finally made it to the field, and the first word was thank u Lord for ur beautiful creation and I promised myself tat I will take care of the nature with out most love and do my best in preserving our planet.

Stray cattle have become a matter of grave concern in almost all parts of Goa. Cattle are found wondering on roads even during the nights which has resulted in many accidents. Valpoi Municipality has resolved to shift the stray cattle to ‘Goshala’ under stray cattle schemes. Whereas, Goshalas claim that they do not receive any fund from municipalities.

yday, while on our visit to our 83 year old Aunt's remotest village, Camurlim, in Northern Goa, came across a creepy haunted site and having learnt about the facts related to place sounded even more creepier. It is said that a highly qualified Doctor of the village planned to build a hospital to cater to his village and while on his trip to procure medicines from abroad unfortunately perished at sea. His only beloved wife residing in the house was left alone in the mansion and went insane awaiting for her husbands return for a long long time and after many years one fine day she too died all alone. Their unfulfilled wish remained and a few sightings by the villagers on the property scared them out of the property. It is said till date all attempts to bring in a change in the said property has failed and even now no one has the guts to explore. Interested to pay a visit. check out the pic and the video here ! Well my aunt is mentally too strong to get scared and she stays a couple of yards away from the said place. :-) Thanks to the story, I was told this place finds mention on the internet and has turned into a tourist spot!
