Last September, we set out on our annual 3 week adventure, this time we stayed in Arizona, and were, once again, stunned by the beautiful and diverse landscape of the state, we live in.
Our videos are not scripted, we don't stop to film a scene, we just slap those GoPros on our helmets, and enjoy the ride and scenery ... and hope that we capture decent footage ;)

Grad Oatman, Arizona - Jedan od najzanimljivijih gradova na Route66 ali i vjerojatno u cijeloj Americi. Totalno otkačeno mjesto, nekada rudarski kamp, danas mjesto sa samo stotinjak stanovnika. Grad izgleda kao da ste upali u kaubojski film, a ulicama uglavnom šetaju, divlji magarci! Ima ih više od 3500 i totalno su simpatični i djeluju pitomo, a jedan nam je čak pokušao ući u auto, doslovno, čak nam je oštetio kvaku na vratima auta. Imaju i kafić gdje su zidovi i plafon prekriveni dolarima. Nekada običaj rudara da ostave svoj dolar na zidu, danas je postala tradicija turista, kažu da na zidovima ima preko devedeset tisuća dolara.

Backway into Oatman, Arizona
Arizona has a ton of off-road trails, some official some not. The Backway into Oatman is an official trail open to off-road vehicles, hikers and mountain bikes. From the official starting point, it's about 18 miles of trail that ranges from easy to slightly uncomfortable if you get lost (like I did).
Route 66 Back Country Byways
This is reading from a kiosk on Old Route 66 in Arizona . Filmed in 1993 . The last time I saw the Kiosk up close a few years ago it was in distressed shape . Vandalism .
It was part of the Back Country Byway from BLM .
It's not the most entertaining vid nor am I a good orator while reading .. but I put it up for information and historical value . I have traveled a fair amount of 66 . Not nearly as much as many . All of Old 66 in AZ and some of it in CA . In essence if you travel on I-44 from St. Louis the catch I-40 at Oklahoma City you traveled the Old 66 . I have take that drive to AZ a few time and as I said some of it the old section and I -40 in to CA . The AZ portion , The Black Mountains area From Kingman through Oatman and then on to Topoc Golden Shores CA is the neatest ... I think it's the closest thing you can get to experience the Old Road from the 30's - 40' era.
If you ever get a chance and you're going to AZ .. try to catch this last part of the Old Road ... you never know what can happen to it .. tempus edax rerum .
Kingman & Oatman Arizona: Route 66 Road Trip
In this Arizona Route 66 road trip I stopping in Ranchero in Hackberry AZ. Then checking out a Route 66 Museum in Kingman AZ, they also have an electric car museum. Then I drive down Route 66 on my way to Oatman AZ to check out the Ghost town, stopping at the Cool Springs Gas Station on the way.
