Skagway Alaska White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad Tour
This video showcases in-depth the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad in Skagway, Alaska. This is definitely the top attraction in Skagway and worth every dime of the ticket price. The railroad links the port of Skagway with Whitehorse in the Yukon Territory. The railroad was constructed in 1898 during the legendary Klondike Gold Rush as transportation to and from the goldfields. From the late 1980's until now the railroad has been used as a tourist draw. If you like this Skagway, Alaska White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad video then make sure to give it a thumbs up!

Alaska 2017 - Skagway, Seward (Part 3 of 4) | Dog Sledding 阿拉斯加旅游
4th port of call - Skagway. Skagway is a compact city in southeast Alaska, set along the popular cruise route the Inside Passage. It's home to gold-rush-era buildings, now preserved as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Joined shore excursion 'Dog Sledding and Glacier Flight-seeing by Helicopter. After a thrilling helicopter flight over spectacular glaciers, we landed at a dog camp on the Denver Glacier. Hubbard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier on the North American Continent. It is located in the U.S. state of Alaska and also in Canada's Yukon Territory. Standing at 11,000 ft above sea level, it is the longest tidewater glacier in Alaska with an open calving face over 6 miles wide.
Seward - port of disembarkation. Seward is a port city in southern Alaska, set on an inlet on the Kenai Peninsula and is a gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. Explore Seward downtown and waterfront at our leisure. joined the last Shore Excursion Kenai Fjords Cruise With Lunch And Airport Drop-off to explore Kenai Fjords National Park on a sightseeing cruise with lunch on board. ALASKA, day 1,. We found a beautiful lake in Skagway (2018) │ My travel Journal
Alaska is an amazing place to visit, most people think that is going to be super cold but in the high season (between May and September) the weather is actually very pleasant.
Today is our day 1 in Alaska and we are visiting Skagway. We will do the WHITE PASS TRAIN TOUR with its amazing scenarios and sightseens, we will do a TREKKING TO THE DEWEY LAKES, beautiful and one of the few things to do for free here in Skagway, also, we will eat kettle pop corn that is so famous here in these Alaskan ports (don't ask me why), in every Kettle pop corn shop they have a loooot of flavors, you will see.
If you want to do this when you come to Skagway, here are the details:
White pass train tickets:
$125 per person pretty pricy but worth it if you see it at once in a life time experience. tours from outside or the webpage or the ship, the price is the same.
Trekking to the Dewey lakes:
FREE, you just have to get out of the ship, put your hiking shoes and you are ready to go. You will find the trail close to the ships, if you are in front of the ships facing town, the trail is in your right side by the mountains, follow the rails and you will find the path.
Pop corn:
is also pricy but worth it, you are going to find so many flavors, I tried the garlic with chesse pop corn (just for sun) and Iliked it, is really nice to try new things.
I hope you have fun and enjoy every single moment, remember that next week we will put more videos of Alaska and a lot of things to do, don't forget to subscribe and give us a thumbs up.

Alaska Jet Ski & Helicopter Tours to Glaciers, Adventures in Whittier & Anchorage | Go North Ep 16
Jet Ski to Glaciers & Helicopter in Chugach Mountains
Episode 16 takes us to Whittier Alaska where we explore the towns living arrangements in the Begich Towers then go Jet Skiing to Glaciers in Blackstone Bay.
Whittier is only accessible by air, water, or the one way tunnel that shares traffic with a train. The Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel (aka the Whittier Tunnel) is a rough rock tunnel that is the only ground access to the city and until the early 2000's this tunnel was for trains only. Each end of the tunnel has long waiting areas where traffic lines up, and if no trains come street vehicles are allowed through the tunnel each half hour after the tunnel has cleared from opposing traffic.
We then head over to Anchorage first with a stop in Turnagain Arm to watch the Alaska bore tide surfers. In Anchorage a friend took us for a ride in a Robinson R44 helicopter into Alaska's Chugach Mountains all the way up to Lake George. Bob Kaufman spoke with us about life in Alaska before we head further north and get our first, but not last glimpse of the Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights in Alaska.

Jasper National Park ~ Beautiful! But do the tour bus crowds ruin it? RVing Alaska
There’s so much beauty to see in and around Jasper and Banff National Parks. On our way back from our Alaska adventure in our Winnebago Travato camper van we decided to stop in and spend a few days exploring the area. We explored Banff on the way to Alaska and felt like we had skipped Jasper and wanted to make sure we didn’t skip it on the way home. Since it was after Labor Day we thought crowds would be a lot smaller... we were WRONG! There were tour bus crowds everywhere we went. On our drive on the Icefields Parkway, which is breathtakingly beautiful BTW, we counted at least 120 tour buses on the road. Wow! And each bus was full of tourists too. You know the kind... they run from spot to spot taking Instagram photos... it’s run, run, run... pose... snap and then run, run, run... pose... snap. All the while they rudely bump into others there to enjoy the park. And the tour bus operators just count the money and smile. It sure made it hard to enjoy the spectacular scenery, wildlife and views in Jasper and Banff. But, we managed to make the most of our time there, making even more memories of a lifetime and checking off bucket list items many times. But, to be honest Owen had several “GET OFF MY DIRT” moments as you will see in the video.

Alaska Highway Motorhome Tour August 2016
Alaska Highway - Southbound Departure Dates: August 2016
The Southbound tour takes the same route as Northbound - in reverse, following the explorers who opened up the Canadian Rockies, built the amazing Alaska Highway, faced imposible challenges to reach the Yukon and Klondike. We start with a seven night cruise up to Anchorage then head off through Denali and Fairbanks, watching the colours change as the very short autumn arrives, joining the Top of the World Highway across to Dawson City - then southbound to Whitehorse all the way down to Banff and westward tp Anchorage. This tour has lots of optional extras.
