This is some footage I got during a one day trip to Skijam Katsuyama on the 23rd Feb 2013. The conditions this day were very nice with plenty of powder to be found in the slackcountry.
All the footage was captured with my GoPro Hero, I had some issues with the housing fogging up.
Japan's largest night illumination at Katsuyama Ski Jam, Fukui
Light up not only the night but your spirits as well. Although Katsuyama Ski Jam is more known as a ski resort, this wonderful night illumination show is a fantastic experience that can be enjoyed in the warmer months when there is no snow on the slopes.

Ski Japan Katsuyama (often known as Ski Jam or Jamkatsu) is located to the east of the central area of Katsuyama city in the north eastern region of Fukui Prefecture. Karigahara is close by. Ski Jam Katsuyama has been operating since 1993 and is one of the largest and most popular resorts in this region - and certainly the largest in Fukui Prefecture - with many people visiting from the Chubu and Kansai regions.
Fukui Prefecture is in the Chubu region of central Japan, facing the Sea of Japan. It borders Ishikawa to the north, Gifu to the east and Kyoto and Shiga to the south. Most of the ski hills in Fukui Prefecture are found in the north eastern region to the east of the capital, Fukui city.
Ski Japan Katsuyama (muitas vezes conhecido como Ski Jam ou Jamkatsu) está localizado a leste da área central da cidade de Katsuyama, na região nordeste da prefeitura de Fukui. Karigahara está por perto. A Ski Jam Katsuyama vem operando desde 1993 e é um dos maiores e mais populares resorts desta região - e certamente o maior da prefeitura de Fukui - com muitas pessoas que visitam as regiões de Chubu e Kansai.
