East of Zurich and west of Innsbruck near Klosterle, the Sonnenkopf ski area is considered the forgotten step-child of the Arlberg Ski arena. This area is popular with day-tripping families from the greater Zurich region, and it has about 20 pistes served by eight lifts accessing a maximum vertical descent of 1,200m. This POV video of Sonnenkopf snowboarding was produced by SNOWBOARDGUDIES.COM in January 2018.

Das Familienskigebiet Sonnenkopf geht bis auf 2.300 m und gilt als schneesicher. Neben dem Skispaß auf der Piste ist der 7 km lange Winterwanderweg zum Gipfelkreuz Muttjöchle ein schönes Wintererlebnis.

We had a blast skiing at the ski resort Sonnenkopf am Arlberg. Even though I had two crashes, one pretty hard, it was a fun time and a good way to end 2017.
