Macedonia: Taxis line up at Greek border to pick up refugees
Dozens of taxis lined up at the border between Greece and the Republic of Macedonia in the town of Gevgelija, Tuesday, to transport migrants and refugees who have crossed the border to the northern border with Serbia. The migrants and refugees are trying to reach Serbia either by train, bus or taxi. Taxi drivers are waiting to pick up those arriving before they find another means of transportation.

Global Campaign for Education in Macedonia-Global Action Week 2005
TV A1 2005, Guest Zarko Radicevski Coordinator
The First Children Embassy in the World -- Megjashi implemented this campaign together with its partner organizations from all over the country, like ZG Soncogledi, ZPD, COP Dendovas, Sumnal, Mir, Irhom and the Faculty of
Philosophy -- The Defectology Institute (all of which from Skopje), as well as
ROZM Daja, CRZ Dron, and ZG Doverba from Kumanovo, Svetla Idnina from
Kocani, and the Special Institute from Demir Kapija.
The Action began with a march organized at 11:55 am on April 24 th 2005. Around 400 children joined this activity, marching with transparencies that clearly displayed messages aimed at including children in schools. Beside the children, the following promoters also participated in campaign: Kaliopi Bukle, Vlatko Stefanovski, Esma Redzepova, Violeta Tomovska and Edin Hajdarpasic, as well as the Mayor of the City of Skopje Mr. Trifun Kostovski. Three books for remarks were placed on the city square, so that anybody could sign them in support of the campaign.
The following three days, from the 24 th until the 27 th of April were reserved for the creation of schoolmates -- figures made of paper, cardboard, cloth and other materials available to children from elementary schools and organizations from all over the country. Symbolically, schoolmates represent those children who cannot attend school due to various reasons (economic, social, etc.). These schoolmates were signed by celebrities, mayors,
members of Parliament, and other citizens (28 th - 29th of April) who can
contribute to changes of education system. They also signed pledges
that they will continue to engage themselves to include all children in
the schools. A meeting with the President of Republic of Macedonia,
Mr. Branko Crvenkovski is also planned, aimed at providing guarantees
that during his mandate he will strive to contribute to the aforementioned goal.
We also organized an exhibition displaying all the created schoolmates on April 30 th 2005, on the city square in Skopje, where children also presented their own acts (musical and theatrical), thereby urging those children not attending school to join them in the classrooms. This exhibition was started with jugglers, and several celebrities and six MPs also joined the proceedings. We hereby express our gratitude to all media covering the event, where by the entire campaign was covered by TV stations, radios and printed dailies, and we also had several appearances on national and local televisions and radio stations.
We would also like to express our appreciation to the Public Transportation
Company -- Skopje, the patisserie Vegera, the bakery Kozle, Pivara Skopje
and Fusse Bubble jugglers group.
Zarko Radicevski, Elena Damjanova and Ubavka Zimbakova coordinated this campaign.

Skopje Macedonia Fun
This is Ivona who I met at the bus station in Sofia, Bulgaria. We ended up going to Skopje together and met up later that night to have a good time! Here we are walking along the Vardar River after being hassled by a bunch of annoying gypsies. Besides the gypsies, everything turned out just fine! Enjoy!
Why I Don't Like This Country ????????

While I constantly try to find the positives in every place I visit, there are few places that I just simply didn't enjoy.
The country of Brunei is one of them.
I went to Brunei back in 2014, three years before I made videos, but my negative experiences in the country have stuck in my mind ever since. That, combined with its absurd human rights laws such as stoning to death LGBT members, I was pushed to make this video.
Have you ever visited any countries that you didn't enjoy? Please share below, I'm curious to know.

- Mutter Teresa Haus
- Kale Festung

8/6 Tuesday
Tuesday is our traditional Walk to Bus Station day, to get our tickets for the next journey. We book our seats for next week, a four-hour ride to Sophia, Bulgaria. It's not a difficult walk from the apartment. If we have any trouble getting a taxi, we'll be able to get there on foot with our packs.
We walk back to the main plaza along the river path. The city is notable for all the statues and monuments. There are figures all along the bridges, at every main corner fountains, Tsars, Monks, Saints, men in suits, men on horseback, men in suits on horseback, rearing stallions, roaring lions, Mother Theresa, just about everything. At the city center, there's a gigantic fountain statue, called The Warrior, but everyone assumes it's Alexander the Great. The fountain waters make a grand performance to dramatic background music. The fountain is ringed with giant lions, which spit sprays of water at soldiers circling the base of the fountain, fending off the spitting lions with spears and swords. The first tier of the fountain rains down water while sprays surge up from the pools below. The whole decorated column is topped by a massive statue of a warrior on a rearing stallion, holding a sword high over his head. It is quite dramatic.
We see a couple icons for cinemas on our tourist maps, so we decide to walk around the city to find them. There's a modern mall off the plaza. We walk through to the far end and find a movie theater. One down, one to go. The other is somewhere off the main pedestrian avenue. We walk along past the Mother Theresa Center, built on the site of her original home. We'll have to visit that later. We circle around the map location, and finally ask a waiter if she knows where the movies are. She points us in the right direction, down the street to another great big mall. It's even bigger and more modern than the last, and only a few blocks from our apartment. We find the cinema, and then take advantage of the big supermarket to get groceries for dinner.
