The Skytrain of Vancouver
Detroit, Michigan runs some of the exact train models!
The only difference is people use the skytrain here and its longer than in Detroit.
SkyTrain is the rapid transit railroad system of Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. SkyTrain has 68.7 km (42.7 mi) of track and uses fully automated trains on grade-separated tracks, running mostly on elevated guideways, which gives passengers views across the city and helps SkyTrain to hold consistently high on-time reliability. It also uses the world's longest cable-supported transit-only bridge, the Skybridge, to cross the Fraser River.

TransLink Canada Line Skytrain - YVR-Airport to Waterfront
This is a ride on board The Canada Line - one of TransLink's rapid transit 'skytrain' routes - though this line is operationally separate from the other two lines in operation. The Canada Line opened in 2009 linking Downtown Vancouver with YVR Airport and Richmond in just 30 minutes. The line is operated with twenty LRV units built by Hyundai-Rotem with a maximum frequency of every three minutes (one train every six minutes to YVR Airport and one train every six minutes to Richmond).
Most of the route is underground, from Marine Drive all the way to Waterfront. The route goes underneath Cambie street as far as Olympic Village, where we go into bored tunnel under False Creek and through Yaletown before running underneath Granville Street to Waterfront.
Previously the rapid transit between Richmond and Downtown Vancouver was provided by the 98 B-Line bus, running along Seymour and Howe Streets in Downtown Vancouver, and along Granville Street and over the Arthur Laing and Moray Bridges via Airport Station.
Vancouver SKYTRAIN END-TO-END RIDE: EXPO LINE WESTBOUND Early Afternoon, Fall 2019
I recorded this ride on Oct. 25, but went on vacation soon after so I didn't get a chance to edit and upload this video until now. I remember this was a nice, sunny Fall afternoon, and I wanted to capture some of the changing colours in the foliage in the trees along the commute. It was a very smooth and pleasant ride. But it was very windy. In fact, some leaves and branches would be blown into the SkyTrain tracks later that day and it caused major disruption to the service. I'm glad I was off the train by then and did not experience any delay.

HD - Canada Line Skytrain, Vancouver, BC
Adding on to the videos from Vancouver, this will be the last one. Here, we see the Canada Line Skytrain, the newest line. The cool thing about the Skytrain, is that there is nobody driving it! I would of recorded the ride from the front, but there were these two little kids who took the spot imedietly! Next time! The first shot is at the Waterfront Station, and the second shot is at Richmond, near the YVR airport. Thank You for watching.

Vancouver Skytrain and Canada Line In Action II - Aug. / Sep. 2016
Welwyn22 Productions Presents: An all-new 'Skytrain in Action' video! Filmed in August and September 2016, this video takes us to many locations on the Skytrain system, operated by TransLink (The South Coast British Columbia Transport Authority). This video sees the refurbished Mark 1 trainsets contrasting sharply with the ones in the original Skytrain and BC Transit liveries - plus both generations of Mark 2 sets, and furthermore some of the brand new Mark 3 sets, which entered service in July!
This video also captures some of the last moments of the Millennium Line operating between Waterfront and Lougheed, this changed in October 2016 in preparation for the new Evergreen Extension opening from Lougheed to Coquitlam in December.

The Canada Line (Subway) in Vancouver, Canada 2019
The Canada Line is the third rapid transit line built in the SkyTrain metro system in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The line is owned by TransLink and InTransitBC and operated by ProTrans BC, and links Vancouver, Richmond, and the Vancouver International Airport. It is coloured turquoise on route maps.
The Canada Line comprises 19.2 kilometres (11.9 mi) of track; the main line goes from Vancouver to Richmond, while a 4-kilometre (2.5 mi) spur line from Bridgeport station connects to the airport. It had been scheduled to open on November 30, 2009, but opened three months ahead of schedule, well in advance of the 2010 Winter Olympics the following February.
The Canada Line was anticipated to have 100,000 boardings per day in 2013 and 142,000 boardings per day by 2021, but it has consistently exceeded early targets. Ridership has grown steadily since opening day, with average ridership of 83,000 per day in September 2009, 105,000 per day in March 2010, and over 136,000 passengers per weekday in June 2011. During the 17 days of the 2010 Winter Olympics, the line carried an average of 228,190 passengers per day ~Wikipedia

Vancouver SKYTRAIN EVENT: 2018 HALLOWEEN PARTY TRAIN 666, Canada Line, October 26, 2018
Here's my Train 666 Vancouver Skytrain Halloween Party Train 2018 video, a month behind and several re-edits and re-uploads (due to copyright issues) later. I know I should be putting up Christmas videos by now, but there's some nice bits in this fun SkyTrain ride that it's worth putting up still. This was on the Canada Line from Waterfront Station to Brighouse Station and back again. Recorded Friday night, October 26, 2018.

Vancouver Skytrain
The Vancouver Skytrain system is very unique in North America because it is completely automated. The trains are relatively short compared to most subways, but the frequency is extremely high, sometimes trains arriving every 2-3 minutes. Included in the video is the Expo Line, Millennium Line, and the Canada Line.
