SkyDive - Headcorn Parachute Club - Kent (UK)
Headcorn Parachute Club - Kent (UK) on 24th July 2006.
Myself at the edge of an open doorway, 14,000 feet in the air, peering down at the distant fields. Now imagine the rush of freefalling 5,000 feet through the sky, the tranquility as the parachute deploys, the breathtaking views as you glide to earth. And the elation of knowing you’re helping to break new ground in heart research. That’s what being a Heart Flyer is all about.

My second skydive / static line parachute jump over the beautiful Kent countryside... I'm the one donning the red hat, I did ask for a matching red parachute but to no avail - look closely to see my legs kicking out like a cartoon dog... or a trainee Superman perhaps?

Rebecca's Sepsis UK Charity Skydive from 12,000ft - Headcorn 2018
For Rebecca's 16th Birthday, being fearless, she chose a Skydive. She then decided to raise money for the UK Sepsis Charity.
She has currently raised £265 on her Go Fund Me page and none of the proceeds have been used to pay for any part of the Skydive or travel costs.
There are around 123,000 cases of sepsis every year in England alone. Around 37,000 people die every year as a result of the condition.
Anyone can develop sepsis after an injury or minor infection, although some people are more vulnerable than others.
Although sepsis is often referred to as either blood poisoning or septicaemia, these terms refer to the invasion of bacteria into the bloodstream.
Sepsis can affect multiple organs or the entire body, even without blood poisoning or septicaemia.
Sepsis can also be caused by viral or fungal infections, although bacterial infections are by far the most common cause.
If you or anyone you know has been affected by Sepsis, then please share this video
