Hi all!
This is the first video in a series called An Isle of Skye Adventure, featuring the Scottish Misty Isle in all her stunning beauty. I wanted this first video to show you the Sleat Peninsula, because this is where we spent a fortnight in a holiday cottage and I felt right at home. A stunning place with awe-inspiring views, some of the loveliest people I've met and all the wildlife I ever could have wished for. I've had some incredible wildlife encounters with birds, reptiles and mammals such as the white-tailed eagle, seals, otters, dolphins, puffins, red deer and my favourite the pine marten.

Skye Trail Day 3 Storr to Portree
Section hiked most of the Skye trail in May/June 2019. This is an unofficial route consisting of paths, road, and marked/ unmarked tracks of coastal, ridge and glen hill walking. Weather was good for only 2 of the the 6 days and rained the rest. But what an experience. Highly recommended. It is not as challenging as the guide book makes out other than the Trottenish ridge and of course the weather! This day it rained constantly and the wind was brutal!

A Few Days In Portree, Isle of Skye
I took myself up to Skye at the end of January 2016 - it was just my luck to go in the middle of the battering the UK has been getting by storms this Winter, with Gertrude being the latest culprit. Still, I managed to have some fun and the views on my way and back again were just stunning. It also means I'll have to go back at some point! :)

Hi all!
As promised, a video about the red deer I filmed in Scotland. I had a lot of footage and wanted to make a video solely featuring the red deer. All the footage was filmed on the Fearann Eilean Iarmain Estate, where the land managers do their absolute best in trying to keep and promote the abundance of wildlife I spotted while on holiday on the Sleat Peninsula. They do an incredible job!
