Skyline Luge Tongyeong - the first six months of operation
There has been a lot to celebrate in the first half of Skyline Luge Tongyeong's first year of operation!
From the Grand Opening Ceremony, achieving 1 million Luge rides down our track and launching the thrilling Night Luge experience.
Skyline Luge has been a great success in Korea and we would like to thank all of our guests for their continued support.
Skyline invented the Luge in 1985 where it first launched in Rotorua, New Zealand. Since then, Skyline Luge sites have opened Queenstown (New Zealand), Sentosa (Singapore), Mont Tremblant and Calgary in Canada and will be opening it's second Luge site in Busan in 2019.

Lost in the mountains: Tongyeong Edition | FAT TIME KOREA
My city has pretty cool things too.
It was a cold day in Tongyeong when we decided to hit up the cable cars and enjoy a marvellous view at Mireuksan. Great views, frozen toes... it felt like home. haha. And the hike down was also a great adventure, but please make sure you have your GPS! Good thing the temple was near the foot of the mountain so we just walked all the way back to the bus stop. If we hadn't gotten down before the sunset, oh boy. I will definitely be back for another hike, maybe going up next time~
There was no food in this FAT TIME KOREA because we ended up doing some...partying after ;) Sorry. Maybe Anna's thumb was tasty~

One weekend in June 2017 we went to neigbor city of Tongyeong to once again enjoying the luge ride.
This Skyline Luge is a new attraction in Tongyeong city and the only Luge experience you can have in South Korea.
They are still expanding to add new tracks. Its location near the cable car/mireuksan tourist area attract big number of visitor. Expect to queue for quite a while!
