Day 01: Arrive at Chennai

Meet on arrival and transfer to a Hotel. (Half-day sight seeing depending upon the arrival of flight). Visit to Fort St. George - occupies pride of place and prominence in Chennai, the State Legislature and the Secretariat are located inside this fort. Dubare Elephant Camp Coorg tourism Karnataka tourism madikeri tourism. Dubare is known for its elephant camp, a forest camp on the banks of the river Kaveri in the Coorg district or Kodagu, Karnataka. Dubare is an important base for the Karnataka Forest Department's elephants.The dubbare delta island is naturally created by Cauvery River and is surrounded by lush-green thick forest. The Forest Department of Karnataka oversees the administration of this wildlife center. It is home to the famous Asiatic Black Elephants. Dubare elephant training camp carries out training of wild elephants by the forest department along with the help of the local tribal communities. Elephant rides can be enjoyed by the visitors along with opportunities to scrub and feed the elephants.The elephants for the Mysore Dussehra are trained at Dubare elephant camp. At present, after logging operations have ceased, the elephants have been practically retired except for giving some rides to tourists.
Dubare is easily accessible from Mangalore which is 173 km away. The route from Bangalore is via Mysore, Kushalanagara, Gudde Hosur (4 km from Kushalanagara on BM Road), then turn towards Siddapura. About 15 kilometer on the Siddapura Main Road is a board indicating Dubare Camp .

Day 01: Arrive at Bangalore
Meet on arrival and transfer to a hotel, afternoon visit Lal Bagh- 240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants. Glasshouse (built on the lines of London's Crystal Palace).

Day 02: Bangalore / Mysore (140 km /3hrs)

Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Mysore, Enroute visit Srirangapatna - Tippu's Summer Palace, etc. On arrival to Mysore, transfer to a hotel. After lunch proceed to visit St. Phenomena's church - this imposing Gothic structure with beautiful stained glass windows and lofty towers is a must see and in the evening, visit to world famous Brindavan Garden - the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam after sundown, when musical fountains and colored lights transform this place into a magical fairyland. Morning breakfast. Visit to Maharaja Palace - the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions are a magnificent gold throne, Chamundi Hills - perched a top outside Mysore City is the temple of Chamundeshwari. The 4. 8m tall monoliths of Nandi and the gigantic Mahishasura statue are added attractions and in the evening visit to Mysore's famous market, Afternoon free. Overnight.
Day 04: Mysore / Coorg -- Madikeri (125 kms / 3hrs)

Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Coorg, Enroute visit famous Nisarghadhama-island near Kushalnagar. Go for optional boating or Elephant ride (subject to availability), on arrival to Madikeri check in to a hotel. Evening free and overnight.

Morning breakfast and proceed for full day sight seeing covering Talakaveri - Set amidst the picturesque Brahmagiri hills is the source of Cauvery River, with the Talacauvery Temple built around it, Baghamandala, afternoon return to hotel, evening visit Onkareshwara Temple, Raja Seat.
