Shimoni Slave Caves.
On 8th this month that's August, i made a tour of the slave caves in the southern part of Kenya well known as shimoni caves. I managed to get hold of the centuries old chains used to lock the slaves on the wall as got lashed by the Arab slave traders. In the video you can hear the guide telling us the history. The visitors left a little bit early so i stayed behind and was scared to death because the caves are dark infested with big bats. The guide tells us about how the Arabs locked those poor Africans in those dark cold caves for three weeks before being shipped to the Arab world to work on the oil fields and other areas where manpower was needed. This happened long before the trans-atlantic slave trade. So to be brief, Africa suffered from all fronts. From the northern frontier to the East and central Africa Arabs kidnapped, captured sold slaves. On the west side and central Africa whites reigned hell on our people.
Wake up.
