2012 a pod of at least 8 Southern Right whales spent the winter in the Sleaford Bay / Whaler's Way area near Port Lincoln, South Australia. Whales were easily visible from the beach and cliff tops.

Highlights of a week of solo exploration and fishing in the Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay areas of Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Rugged coastal scenery, beautiful beaches and a little wildlife.

Hands down the most surprising thing we have experienced so far on our journey around Australia is just how drop dead gorgeous/amazing/breathtaking the beaches in South Australia are.
