This week was a lot of fun.. we took full advantage of the Airbnb pool, went horse riding (where Ellie fell off) and even rock jumped at a cool hidden beach.. oh and climbed ANOTHER mountain!

Noordhoek is a suburb of Cape Town which is 34km south of Cape Town city itself. Noordhoek valley is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean, which offers a 7km stretch of untouched beach and the world famous Chapmans Peak drive and Silvermine mountains.

Noordhoek Beach Ride June 21, 2015

Today was the shortest day of the year in South Africa (our winter solstice), but also one of the loveliest! I don't think I've ever been able to say that before (until I moved here)! A few photos from our beach ride with Lynn Duddy, Susi Petersen, Hal Petersen, and Janice Fleischer Our horses were tired from yesterday and stayed well under control today. Lots of people on the beach in the good weather!
