The Sandy River falls 54' over 4 different drops. We've been going to Smalls Falls ever since we were kids. The water of the Sandy River is especially cold this far north but it's a great compliment to a hot day.

Maine is having a bit of a drought this year so the volume of water coming over the falls is down from what we'd normally see. Maybe we'll head back in the spring and catch another bit when the river is running high.

Still working on the camera settings but I'm getting closer to the look that I want. We also had two near crashes - luckily, neither were fatal for the Phantom. However, both left the Phantom dirty and left me with a pulse rate of over 9000!

Fall Drive to Rangeley, Maine

Sit a while and relax on a fall day drive to ridgeley,taking in the colors and sights on the way. It reminds me of Scotland in a way, although not so mountainous as the colors blend richly to form the well known cover. Photos of course were taken by my wife and myself.

Angel Falls, Rangeley Maine

The view of the entire water fall is in the middle of the video, I had to walk in it to get the whole thing. Also, I swear by accident, I was excited! So turn your speakers down. About a mile, not well marked, hike along side a river to the Falls. A water crossing is necessary to view the falls.
