HE'S BACK IN POLITICS: JAMES C. FIELDS
James C. Fields Returns To Tackle The Trump Era
In an exclusive interview today, Alabama District 12 Representative James C. Fields, Jr. announces that he will be returning to elective politics during the coming 2018 state election cycle.
The question is not if he will run for office (he will). The question is 'which office will he run for?'.
In the interview below, Reverend Fields cites three separate and distinct Alabama state government positions he is currently mulling campaigning for:
★ The Governor of Alabama
★ Lieutenant Governor
★ District 12 State Representative
He promises a decision on which of this position he will officially seek on or before August 15, 2017.
In this extremely transparent and heartfelt interview, you'll be able to grasp the thought processes behind his desire to return as an elected public servant in the state of Alabama.
Reverend Fields, Jr. is a minister in the United Methodist Church in Irondale. He served in the Alabama District 12 House of Representatives from 2008 until 2010 (representing Cullman).
He is native of Colony and grew up on a family's small farm there. After graduating from Hanceville High School, he attended Jacksonville State University (JSU). At JSU, he obtained a bachelor's degree in law enforcement. Subsequently, he served in the U.S. Marines, attending officer training at the Marine Corps Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He departed the military with an honorable discharge.
He worked for the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations for nearly three decades. He and his wife Yvette have seven children and 13 grandchildren (at last count).
In November 2013, Fields announced that he would be a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Alabama in the 2014 elections. He ran in the Democratic primary uncontested and was defeated by incumbent Republican Lieutenant Governor Kay Ivey in the general election.
Fields currently serves in a variety of elective and appointive position with such agencies as Cullman Electric Cooperative, Victim Services of Cullman, International Clergyman of the Civitans and the Alabama Wildlife Federation among several others.

My visit to Oba Farms in Greenville Texas. I saw grass fed farm raised goats, free range chickens, ducks, turkeys and more. They all seemed to be living in harmony - free range access to over 10 acres
The goat is a close member of the family Bovidae and is very closely related to the sheep as both are in the goat-antelope subfamily Caprinae. There are +300 distinct breeds of goat. Goats are one of the oldest if not the oldest domesticated species, & have been used for their milk, meat, hair(Cashmere wool), and skins over much of the world. In 2011, there were more than 924 million live goats around the globe, according to the UN FAO(
Female goats are referred to as does or nannies, intact males as bucks, billies, or rams and their offspring are kids. Castrated males are wethers. Goat meat from younger animals is called kid or cabrito (Spanish), and from older animals is simply known as goat or sometimes called chevon (French), or in some areas mutton (which more often refers to adult sheep meat).

STORYLINE:
A strict new immigration law in the southern US state of Alabama, which requires police to jail anyone who can''''t prove he or she is in the country legally, has already started causing labour shortages in agriculture and has put further strain on the state''''s bulging prisons.
Across Alabama, police charged with enforcing the nation''''s toughest law targeting illegal immigrants are trying to work out how to enforce the law and how to pay for it.
The law could spell financial trouble for the state''''s agriculture, which relies on immigrant labour to harvest and process crops.
Agriculture Commissioner John McMillan said his agency was trying to find a solution, but some crops may rot in the fields as workers leave the state rather than face arrest under the law.
Farmers have asked legislators to amend the law, possibly by carving out an exception for agriculture, but any changes are at least weeks away, and possibly much longer.
Alabama and this new law, if that''''s what they wanted was for the migrants to leave and they''''re gone, that''''s what they did, but in the long run Alabama just shut off their local food supply, Kim Haynes, a farmer, told the Associated Press on Thursday.
The law is described by both supporters and opponents as the toughest state law in the U.S. targeting illegal immigrants.
It''''s a misdemeanour for illegal immigrants not to have immigration papers.

Cullman before John Cullman
An hour-long historical video documentary identifying the pre-German pioneers of Cullman City (Alabama) before John G. Cullman arrived in 1872. The European settlers would later claim that the Cullman City area was a wilderness and undeveloped but historical documents reveal that many Georgians and Tennesseans had already lived in this area before joining the mass migration westward in the 1860's and 1870's.

Alabama Poultry Farms Report Three Cases Of Bird Flu
Reuters reports that Alabama has found bird flu at three poultry facilities in the northern part of the state, its agriculture department said on Tuesday, near where two cases were detected recently in Tennessee. Alabama has not received any definitive test results that confirm its cases are highly pathogenic, which is the more lethal form of the virus for poultry, a spokeswoman for the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries said. Department of Agriculture confirmed the first U.S. case of highly pathogenic flu in commercial poultry in more than a year at a chicken farm in southern Tennessee.
