WhiteRook Delaware Turkey 2018
The Delaware Turkey season opened on 4/14, time to head out in the woods and see if I can find another Tom. First day was fairly quiet, we did have a couple get close, but would not commit. Second day was a washout due to the major storm that hit the whole Eastern half of the US. Out the third day, stayed in the same general area the whole morning, walked back and forth doing some calls. Was walking over to check out one of the fields when a Tom just started hammer gobbling. Quickly got setup and did some light calling. He came on in and the rest is history as they say. Great time, very thankful to nature for providing these great birds.
