NAIROBI SNAKE PARK
Snake Park Nairobi
Snake Park Nairobi is located just adjacent to National Museum Library and Botanical Gardens Nairobi alongside Kipande Road, about 1.5 km away from city center. If you walk along Nairobi River, just for a stroll towards west, you will first reach John Michuki Memorial Park, then Snake Park and then Botanical Gardens and then National Museum. It is a very ordinary snake farm not worth a visit. There are only few snakes in glass boxes covered with dust and hardly visible to naked eyes. Few tortoise and crocodiles can also be seen in this park which is located in a very small building. The entry fee for Snake Parkis 1200 shillings (more than 12$) for foreigners. It is abnormally high. However, a combined ticket of National Museum and Snake Park costs 1500 shillings which still amounts fleecing the foreign tourists.

Stedmak Gardens Snake Park | Pre/Post Safari Activity | Nairobi, Kenya
I took a look at the snake park in Stedmak Gardens to see if it was worth a visit when you have time to spare in Nairobi before or after a Kenyan Safari
I think yes the snake park is well worth a visit education around snakes is very important both for overseas visitors and locals. The wildlife and bird park is not really necessary in a city that has its own National Park.
The snake park is a guided tour with a knowledgeable guide who can tell you all you want to know about snakes, it includes interaction with a python which can help people overcome fears.
So yes visit and learn about the snakes, skip the animals and birds if you are not into seeing captive animals and go for lunch at the floating restaurant!
Visitors to Zebra Plains Collection camps can enquire about a trip to the snake park at Stedmak Gardens when booking their safari, alternatively it is just a short taxi ride from the two Nairobi airports or city accommodation.
To book with Zebra Plains Collection you can contact reservations@zebraplainsmara.com or call +254776965290 / +254790789122

Rob The Ranger is a proudly South African YouTuber
The purpose of the Rob The Ranger Wildlife Videos YouTube channel is to show what it is like to experience seeing wild animals on an African safari. Nature Documentaries are often highly edited to tell a story, wildlife safaris are not, and the idea here is to show the wildlife sightings the way they were seen. Safari tours in Africa are generally suitable for all ages and this channel can be considered an educational channel about incredible nature, some scenes in the nature videos may be more graphic than people are used to but this is the reality of nature and is what you would see if you were present on such a safari in person. Safaris in Kenya, South Africa, or any other African country are an unrivalled experience for anyone with a passion for nature, wildlife photography, and travel. Hopefully the animal videos on this channel can provide a glimpse into what the nature experience is like and encourage more people to take a wildlife safari one day.

Kenyan snake farm owner battles to secure more anti-venom
Kenya boasts some of the world's deadliest snakes, key among them green and black mambas and spitting cobras. As in other poor, rural areas of Africa, Latin America and Asia, venomous snakes pose a public health risk that experts, such as Royjan Taylor, Director of the Bio-Ken venomous snake centre, say has been neglected for far too long.
