SNORKELING BERMUDA - CHURCH BAY - AERIAL and UNDERWATER FOOTAGE
We take an in depth look at the reef off the shore of Church Bay. With aerial footage and underwater footage we try to give you a good idea what you can expect, and where the reef location is.
Church Bay is located in the South Hampton Parish of Bermuda. Easily accessed via bus # 7. This place can get crowded, but snorkeling is great when you get out to the reef.

A great place to stretch out after being on a Cruise Ship ( Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruise, Princess Cruise, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise, etc.).
Bermuda Cruise Day 3 (Snorkel Park Beach & Royal Naval Dockyard Tour)
See what we did on the third and final day of our stay in Bermuda via our cruise ship (the Celebrity Summit)! We highly recommend staying at the Royal Naval Dockyard area where your cruise ship is docked because typically it will leave by 3 PM in the afternoon, and you don't want to be farther out in Bermuda and risk being left behind.
Our ship was docked at King's Wharf at the Royal Naval Dockyard. After a late breakfast we grabbed some beach towels and headed out from the cruise port area towards our main attraction for today, the nearby Snorkel Park Beach. We saw lots of folks having fun at what looked like a Pirate Ship, and it turned out to be a bar called Calico Jack's. En route to the Snorkel Park Beach, we saw the area where the Bermuda Bus Stop for the Dockyard is located, plus the Dockyard Courtesy Shuttle as well.
We visited the Snorkel Park Beach which is the closet beach to where the cruise ships dock. It was pretty crowded on this third and final day of both ship's stay in Bermuda, but we managed to have fun and even do some snorkeling as well. The water was pretty clear and we saw quite a few fish, though some of the rocks were pretty sharp under water so be aware.
Afterwards we walked around and visited some shops, including ones in the Clocktower Mall.
Then it was time to head back to the cruise ship for a scenic sail-away. This was from our June 2019 11 day cruise to Bermuda & New England on the Celebrity Summit.

Tobacco Bay Beach Bermuda & Snorkeling (4K)
We visited Bermuda via cruise ship for 3 days. One of the days we spent at St George, where we walked to Tobacco Bay Beach (took about 20 minutes from the ferry terminal) and enjoyed some swimming & snorkeling there. It was overcast and windy, so the waters were a bit cold even in June. Snorkeling-wise this was a nice spot- as you can see in the video we saw a lot of fish, the most interesting being the Princess Parrotfish.
There is a restaurant and bar right at the beach, and we've posted the menu prices for the drinks & food, as well as the costs for beach chair & kayak rental. There is a public bathroom that is free to use.
After fun on the beach we headed over to the nearby Fort St Catherine, which is about a 15 minute walk away.

Bermuda Triangle Shipwreck Snorkel
Cruise along Bermuda's west end shoreline toward an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Bermuda is home to over 200 square miles of the Atlantic's most northerly fringe reef. Although beautiful, the reef is treacherous, and there has been over 300 shipwrecks to prove it. On this trip you'll visit two of Bermuda's
most famous shipwrecks, the Constellation and the Montana. They are home to an abundance of coral and fish and they are situated on the very edge of the surrounding reef. The captain will give you a history on Bermuda and some of its shipwrecks. Upon arrival to the site, you'll be issued with snorkel equipment and given a safety briefing on how you may best enjoy up to one hour of safe snorkeling. Finally, enjoy complimentary Rum Swizzle and soft drinks on the return trip to your ship. Note: Participants must be in good physical conditions and comfortable with swimming in water too deep to stand. Persons with back problems or physical disabilities should not participate. This tour is weather dependant and alternatives reefs will be used. A cash bar is also available. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol. A valid photo I.D. is required. Bring your swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen.

Walk to the Snorkel Park, where your snorkel instructor will provide you with instruction on how to operate your Aqua Power Scooter and snorkel equipment. Skim near the surface faster than you can swim, or dive down to take a closer look. You'll have an opportunity to see sea fans, coral and an array of marine life. This was a Shore Excursion from the Norwegian Escape.
The video was filmed on June 1st, 2018 in Bermuda, and shows the shipwrecks of the Constellation, sunk in 1943, and the Montana, sunk in 1863.
This was by far my favorite snorkeling experience to-date (the Montana shipwreck, more specifically).

Tobacco Bay Snorkeling in Bermuda. Not the best beach in Bermuda for looks but certainly one of the best for Snorkeling. Some of the rock formations out to see are interesting to swim round and the bay itself is quite safe and shallow to swim in.
