Diving at Night with Snorkel Safari Gold Coast at Cook Island Marine Park off Tweed Heads, NSW. Heaps of marine life was lucky to have good visibility on these dives. Found the shrimp and smaller crabs hard to film but here goes.

Hoping to get a feed of mackerel. Seems they don't work weekends either. Weather and swell has made it tough to get out in little boat for several weeks, so was stoked to get outside and wet a line regardless of catch.

Sunk on the 24th December 2003 (41 km SE of 1770 and 45 km NW of Burnett Heads) this 47 metres long gravel barge sits upright at 27 metres, the upper most section is at 13 metres.
The crane boom and hull have created a great habitat for marine life. The activity varies greatly between night and day as you will see in the 2 videos and to have a complete experience you need to dive at both times. At night the crane boom is quiet with it's residents at rest and the hull has drawn in turtles and rays and large cods. During the day the crane boom is busy with small fish activity and the hull and surrounding area have big fish action. During the day the turtles have headed off on their daily activities.
