雪国-Snow Country- Minamiuonuma, Niigata, Japan／ First time skiing and snowboarding
“Minamiuonuma” is one of the most famous winter resort areas in Japan with delicious foods and abundant Onsen (hot springs). In this video, we feature students of the International University of Japan (IUJ) having their first skiing, snowboarding and hot spring experiences.
Minamiuonuma is about two hours from Tokyo by Shinkansen! So please come and enjoy this area when you visit Japan.

Mt Naeba is less than 2 hrs north west by train and shuttle bus from Tokyo. I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days there following our company conference in January. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, I loved the whole experience and it was a great introduction to skiing in Japan. They have a *lot* of ski fields to choose from!
