Animation directed by Iosif Boyarsky. Animator was Youri Norstein his first job for the puppetfilm division, as the animation is made with papercut figures. Probably Boyarski invited him and gave him a steady job at the puppetfilm association, as he was it's managing/artistic director from 1962 till 1979. In 1960, 61, 62 and 63 he made 5 animations as director or co-director with each broadenng the ways of making stopmotion animation in contrast to how they were made before he came to Soyuzmultfilm
