Description: Santa Claus Holiday Village is located at the heart of Santa Claus Village in the Arctic Circle, 10 km north of Rovaniemi. It offers private cabins and free airport transfer.
Staff can help arrange reindeer, husky and snow mobile safaris, and boats, bikes and fishing equipment can be rented on site. Guests can also enjoy the skiing and hiking trails nearby. Lappish and international food is served at Christmas House Restaurant & Coffee.
All of the heated cabins at the Holiday Village have private saunas, a kitchenette and a terrace. They are equipped with private bathrooms and LCD TVs.
Free Internet access is available in public areas. A shop selling souvenirs and traditional Lapland goods and food is also found on site.
Rovaniemi Airport is located 5 minutes from the cabin village. Guests can also visit Santa Claus a 2-minute walk away.
Description: Made entirely of snow, Snowman World Igloo Hotel is in Santa Claus Village, set within the Arctic Circle. It features an ice-sculpted bar and restaurant. Rovaniemi Airport is 3.5 km away.
All igloos are individually themed with ice and snow sculptures, and include a thermal sleeping bag. Shared bathroom facilities and a breakfast room are found in the main building.
Each guest receives 1 all-day pass to Snowman World, where they can enjoy ice slides, ice skating and other snow activities. The Lappish-themed Restaurant Ensilumi and the Ice Bar are food and drink options on site.

Pluses:
Everything.
Check in was very quick and friendly and staff have a very good knowledge of the area.
Cottages are well equipped, maintained and spacious - we had our own parking space and sauna.
Cottages are in blocks of two joined by an internal porch/hall accessed via an external door. We had no neighbours so we had a very peaceful night. If you were in a group or big family if you had both cottages this would be ideal.
Breakfast was good and lots of variety.
The village itself has lots to see and do, but most faculties close at 5pm , but the large souvenir shop at reception is open until 11pm.
Check out was 12pm so we had time to visit the shops , Santa's post office and meet Ssnta before we left.
The restaurant would be very crowded during the peak season. But we see there is construction site to expand the hotel facility. The food and service at the the restaurant are good though.
Minuses:
The room is super spacious and cozy. The sauna in the room is excellent and it is an enjoyment to stay here. We wish we could stay one more night

Pluses:
Staff are so friendly and willing to help. Our visit was on a snowy day so some parts of the outdoor playground was closed but we still got a lot fun ice-skating and ice-sliding. The sleep in the igloo was unexpectedly nice since you hardly feel the cold inside the sleeping bag.
First time sleeping in igloo, wonderful experience but it was really cold. Lucky we were given with the sleeping bags. There's a small hole at the top of the igloo to allow the air and the snow to flow in. It was snowing during my stay and my leg was covered with snow when we were sleeping. No bath room inside the igloo, have to use the shares bathroom near the reception.
Minuses:
It was not an individual igloo for each room. There are few rooms in one igloo.
