'Mind Over Matter' WonderWorks Myrtle Beach
This video begins in Broadway at the Beach, and finishes with a visit by Gabe and Haley, formerly of Pawleys Island, to Huntington Beach State Park on the Hammock Coast of Georgetown County, South Carolina. The youngsters go on a zip line and ropes course in an upside-down building created by a swirling vortex in Myrtle Beach and know as WonderWorks. The Ohio visitors play a mind over matter in a bio-feedback game called Mind Ball, wearing a headband with electrodes and relaxing their minds in order to use their brain waves and move the ball across the table to the opposing side. They Explore outer space in the Space Zone, wearing a life size replica of an Astronaut Space Suit and riding in the Mercury Capsule. They see how the Titanic sank in icy cold water. Along with grandparents, Kay and Lloyd of Murrells Inlet, they go on a virtual reality roller coaster and travel through tunnels and over deep canyons.
