RAW VIDEO: The Soda Rock Winery burns in Kincade Fire
The ornate stone-fronted tasting room and main building of the historic Soda Rock Winery in Healdsburg, Californiia caught fire around 3 a.m. Sunday, hissing and percussive booms could be heard emanating from the structure.

Firefighters battle N. Calif. wine country blaze
(28 Oct 2019) Firefighters in northern California are attacking a massive wildfire burning in Sonoma County's wine country ahead of another major wind event forecast for Tuesday night.
California's biggest utility, Pacific Gas & Electric, cut off power to an estimated 2.5 million people in the northern part of the state over the weekend in yet another round of blackouts aimed at preventing windblown electrical equipment from sparking more fires. And more shut-offs are possible in the next few days.
The fire that broke out last week amid Sonoma County's vineyards and wineries north of San Francisco exploded to at least 103 square miles (267 square kilometers), destroying 96 buildings, including at least 40 homes, and threatening 80,000 more structures, authorities said.
Nearly 200,000 people were under evacuation orders, mostly from the city of Santa Rosa.
Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency over the weekend.
The biggest evacuation was in Sonoma County, where some people who were packing up and fleeing Sunday had done so two years ago, when devastating wildfires swept through Sonoma, Napa and neighboring counties, killing 44 people.
Hundreds of people arrived at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa by Sunday. Some came from nursing homes.
More than 300 people slept in an auditorium filled with cots and wheeled beds. Scores of others stayed in a separate building with their pets.
A historic attraction outside Healdsburg was lost Sunday when embers carried by wind sparked a blaze that engulfed the Soda Rock Winery. The buildings included a general store and post office founded in 1869.

(1 Nov 2019) STORYLINE /VOICE OVER SCRIPT:
AS FIREFIGHTERS TAMP DOWN THE FLAMES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
VOLUNTEERS ARE FIRING UP EFFORTS TO HELP TENS OF THOUSANDS OF MIGRANT WORKERS WHO FACE UNCERTAINTY. PEOPLE LIKE 32 YEAR OLD DIANA SOLIS AND HER TWO YEAR OLD SON SANTIAGO.
SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Diana Solis, Farm Worker:
++ENGLISH TRANSLATION OVER SOUNDBITE++
This time having to evacuate we were desperate, it was stressful.
SOLIS, AN UNDOCUMENTED FARM WORKER WHO PICKS GRAPES AT LOCAL VINEYARDS, WAS FORCED TO EVACUATE BECAUSE OF THE ONGOING WILDFIRE IN CALIFORNIA WINE COUNTRY.
SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Diana Solis, Farm Worker:
++ENGLISH TRANSLATION OVER SOUNDBITE++
The community is worried especially about our finances. We haven't been able to work. We are worried.
HER BIGGEST WORRY NOW IS HOW SHE'LL PAY THE RENT BECAUSE SHE'S MISSED SEVERAL DAYS OF WORK.
SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Diana Solis, Farm Worker:
++ENGLISH TRANSLATION OVER SOUNDBITE++
I don't have a car
HUNDREDS OF MIGRANT WORKERS JUST LIKE DIANA SHOWED UP AT A COMMUNITY CENTER IN THE TOWN OF HEALDSBURG ON THURSDAY FOR CLOTHING, FOOD AND SERVICES.
SOUNDBITE (English) Ariel Kelley, Corazon Healdsburg:
And really in the winery, vineyard, hospitality economy, they make up the majority of our labor force.
THE GROUP PROVIDING AID IS CALLED CORAZON HEALDSBURG. IN SONOMA COUNTY ALONE THEY SAY THEY'VE HELPED MORE THAN 2500 FAMILIES.
SOUNDBITE (English) Ariel Kelley, Corazon Healdsburg:
I think there is a lot of uncertainty about when people think they'll able to return to work, how they'll be able to make up for lost wages.
THE BLAZE FORCED MORE THAN 180-THOUSAND TO EVACUATE AND DESTROYED ROUGHLY 140 HOMES.
BUT THIS FIRE WAS DIFFERENT THAN PREVIOUS ONES FOR THE IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY HERE WHERE ADVOCATES SAY AUTHORITIES HAVE IMPROVED COMMUNICATION TO SPANISH SPEAKERS.
SOUNDBITE (English) Edwin Zuniga, PIO CalFire:
Unfortunately people were scared two years ago, not going to the shelters or seeking help because they feared they'd be rounded up by ice or arrested because they didn't have the documentation. And that just wasn't the case two years ago.
FIREFIGHTERS HAVE BEEN GIVING REAL TIME UPDATES IN SPANISH WITH AN EMPHASIS ON REASSURING MIGRANT WORKERS THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT IS THERE TO HELP THEM, NOT DEPORT THEM.
SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Diana Solis, Farm Worker:
++ENGLISH TRANSLATION OVER SOUNDBITE++
This is one of the few places we feel secure, police have told they will not cooperate with immigration authorities.
ADVOCATES AND AUTHORITIES DESCRIBE THE IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY HERE AS THE BACKBONE OF THE LOCAL AGRICULTURAL ECONOMY.
A PLACE WHERE THEY BELONG AND ARE SAFE.
