Söderåsen National Park - Sweden
Söderåsen is a National Park in Sweden.
The park is situated in the southernmost province of Skåne.
It is one of 30 National Parks in Sweden.
Söderåsen National Park was formed in 2001 and covers 1,625 hectares.
The nature is varied, featuring lush deciduous forests, impressive talus slopes with high cliffs, flowing streams and panoramic views. The long, deep fissure valley by Skäralid is especially frequented. It is a rift valley of immense scope with perpendicular cliffs that envelope the Skärån river running along the bottom. Other impressive sites are Odensjön lake in the Nackarpsdalen valley as well as the vantage points of Kopparhatten, Hjortsprånget and Lierna along the Skäralidsdalen valley.

Söderåsen National Park is the largest unbroken area of protected woodland in Northern Europe.
16 km² area with leafy deciduous forests and precipices with high cliffs, streaming watercourses and wide views.

När vitsipporna blommade som bäst begav jag mig ut på en rundvandring i de södra delarna av Söderåsens Nationalpark i Skåne. Från Röstånga vandrade jag Skåneleden upp längs branterna vid Odensjön, därefter vidare till Härsnäsdammarna. Efter en stärkande lunchpaus gick färden åter söderut via Ugglerödsdalen och Nackarpsdalen.

When the white anemones were blossoming I went for a hike in the southern parts of Söderåsen National Park in Skåne. From Röstånga I walked Skåneleden up along the shores of Odensjön, then on to Härsnäsdammarna. After a lunch break, the journey went back south through the Ugglerödsdalen and Nackarpsdalen.
Söderåsen NP - January & October
Söderåsen is a ridge (more precisely, a horst) in the province of Scania in southern Sweden. The highest point is 212 meters. It is intersected by several fissure valleys.
The Söderåsen National Park is a designated area of about 16 km², established in 2001 and situated in the municipalities of Klippan and Svalöv. This part of the hill has a particularly dramatic landscape, with up to 90 meters deep ravines. From the highest point, Kopparhatten, there is a stunning view.
Söderåsen är en horst och nationalpark i nordvästra Skåne. På Söderåsen finns Skånes högsta punkt: 212 m.ö.h.. Åsen sträcker sig från Röstånga i sydost till Åstorp i nordväst.

Borstbäckens naturreservat, Skåne - en rundvandring
Strax norr om Vombsjön i Skåne ligger Borstbäckens naturreservat. En solig dag i mars begav jag mig in i den natursköna bäckravinen som omgärdas av vacker bok- och granskog. Det blev en härlig dagstur på en dryg mil i en fantastisk miljö.

Borstbäckens nature reserve is located a few kilometres north of Vombsjön in Skåne, Sweden. A sunny day in March, I went into the scenic ravine, surrounded by beautiful beech and spruce. It was a lovely day trip, just over 10 kilometres.

#9 Ljungbyhed - Nytt vatten, med massa hugg!
Testar ett nytt vatten jag inte trodde de skulle finnas fisk i, men efter lite snack med polare som fiskat där så gav jag den en chans.
Dock inga grova abborrar men fick lite spöböj iaf!

Vandring runt Häckeberga och Risens naturreservat, Skåne
Blandade klipp från en dagsvandring kring Häckeberga och Risens naturreservat strax utanför Genarp i Skåne. Vintern har börjat släppa sitt grepp om Sveriges sydligaste landskap. Vid Häckebergasjöns strand stannade jag till och åt en lättare medhavd lunch. Allt är filmat med en Sony RX100 III.

Off-trail hike and off the grid night – Skäralid-Klåveröd-Stenestad – Skåneleden 3 – Day 1
This hike had 2 purposes:
1- met a friend at his camp
2- test my new solar system
It led me to 20km of hike with an overpacked backpack.
But I did it.

Autumn Hike in Söderåsen National Park - Day 2
Wake up in Liagarden in Söderåsen National Park. Rainy hike in the forest. I got lost and found a really nice spot for lunch. Then I head back to Skåralid in order to not miss the last bus.

Röstånga Camping, September 2016
Röstånga Camping is according to me, one of Sweden's best campsites. I and my wife spend several weekends there every year with our caravan!
The campsite is beautifully located in the province of Skåne in southern Sweden.
This short movie was filmed during the last two weekends of the season at Röstånga Camping in September 2016. You can see our wonderful Cabby caravan from above while we are leaving the campsite in the middle of the movie (the first of the two caravans leaving)! :)
