Sofiero Slott
Ett besök på Sofiero slott i Helsingborg 2018-06-02, där blomningen närmar sig sitt slut, denna ovanligt varma sommar som knappt hade hunnit börja.
Sofiero slott och slottsträdgård utanför Helsingborg är en plats där kunglig tradition möter experimentlusta och grönskande nyfikenhet. Parken har bland annat Sveriges största rhododendronsamling och är en oas för såväl trädgårdsfrälsta som barnfamiljer. År 2010 blev Sofiero slott och slottsträdgård utsedd till Europas vackraste park.

visitors, starts in March and ends in September. However, you are welcome to visit Sofiero for a guided tour, a walk in the park and a chance to enjoy the view over the strait of
Öresund to Denmark at any time of the year.The park and garden are cared for by Sofiero’s highly-skilled landscape architects and gardeners. In 2010, Sofiero was named Europe’s
most beautiful park. In 2013, Sofiero was voted Sweden’s fourth most popular visitor destination by the users of Tripadvisor.The blooming of the rhododendrons in springtime is a
huge attraction. These days more than 10,000 plants in 500 different varieties bloom in the early summer. The castle has one of the largest collections of rhododendrons in Europe.
Fitting time in to wander among the flowers is a ritual for many people. These days it is a bit easier to keep up to date with the park and gardens since you can follow the gardens’
daily maintenance via Sofieros blog.

Såhär kan det se ut när Sofiero slott och slottspark visar upp sig iklädd ett vackert vårflor. När ljuset och värmen återvänder så tittar tusentals lökväxter upp ur jorden i Sofieros rabatter. Tulpaner, påskliljor (narcisser), hyacinter, klockliljor och kejsarkronor ackompanjeras av violer, vivor, förgätmigej och ranunkler bland många andra.
2019 års vårflor går på vissa håll i ljuvliga pudriga toner av rosa, aprikos och lavendel, ackompanjerat av plommon, silver och svart. I andra rabatter blir kontrasterna skarpare och toner av cerise, lime och kanariegult piggar upp. Varje rabatt har sin unika komposition planerad av Sofieros trädgårdsdesigner Sara Bratt och i år provar vi mycket nytt, bland annat några spännande nyheter bland tulpanlökarna.

Den Stora Trädgårdsfesten på Sofiero
Den stora Trädgårdsfesten på Sofiero har över 20 färgsprakande år bakom sig och är ett av södra Sveriges mest populära trädgårdsevenemang. Här möter trädgårdsälskare, balkongfantaster och nyblivna trädgårdsägare de främsta trädgårdsexperterna och inspiratörerna.
Filmen är från den stora trädgårdsfesten 2018 och Gunnel Carlson, Annette Von Einem och Linda Schilén ger sin bild av den.

Sofiero slott när Rhododendron blommar!
Sofiero slott den 20 maj 2009, precis rätt tid att besöka den fina parken, som ligger ett par kilometer norr om Helsingborg.
Denna helgen är det dessutom en orkidéutställning.
