. Pagpupunta kayo mas maganda kunin nyo yung Package nila kasi mura.
. Wag Kayo mag susuot ng tsinelas mahihirapan kayo, mag suot kayo ng adventure sandals or sapatos ng comportable sainyo
. Bring your own food na din kasi mahal yung foods nila staka unti lang.

Natural Bridge National Park in Basey Samar is well known for its tourism. JunJun and I decided to adventure there on our last day in Samar (Kumar had to leave). River boating, kayaking under natural bridges, and caving...
This was really a great day out!
I know it may be a bit bastos but there was no way I could leave out the hilarious thing that Kuya guide pointed out to us in the cave. Classic Filipino humor!

Trekking through the Sohoton Cave in Samar, Philippines
On November 27, my team decided to spend our adventure day exploring the Sohoton Cave in Basey, Samar, Philippines. On our way there, we passed over the longest bridge in the Philippines. Come explore with us by checking out the video above.

Heute geht es zu einer der wenigen Touristen-Attraktionen auf Samar, den Sohoton-Caves. Anschließend fahren wir auch noch mit dem Kanu den Jungle-Fluss hoch und baden dort. Daher habe ich auch einen Großteil mit meiner GoPro Hero 4 aufgenommen und die Aufnahmen sind leider etwas verwackelt, sorry. Aber es war unglaublich schön dort und ich empfehle jeden der dort ist diese Tour zu machen, auch wenn der Preis mit 20€ schon an deutsche Nationalparks erinnert ;) Aber egal, mit dem Boot durch den Dschungel war schon immer ein Traum von mir. Viel Spaß.

This was taken on January 23, 2017 while my family was in my home town, Tacloban City.
This was our first time to go to Sohoton Cave and it was an amazing experience.

SPARK SAMAR l SOHOTON NATURAL BRIDGE NATIONAL PARK
SAMAR is home to the largest cave system in the country, many of which can be found in the Sohoton Natural Bridge National Park in the town of Basey. But due to the breadth of the cave network, only a few have been fully explored to this date. A 15-minute boat ride through the lush greenery of the Golden River ends at the rest area, hidden by towering limestone cliffs. Of the hundreds of caves identified in the park, the most accessible and tourist-friendly is the historic Panhulugan Cave. Countless rock formations that resemble common objects and creatures can be admired in the cave. It takes about an hour to explore the 569-meter long tunnels and chambers of the Panhulugan Cave, characterized by a mostly flat surface & gentle slopes.
SOHOTON NATIONAL PARK is managed by the Sohoton Service Cooperative, organized by residents of two nearby communities – a success story in community-based tourism operations and management in Samar. And like all other tourism destinations in the country, they won’t get noticed unless promoted. It is in this premise that Samar Provincial Government thru the Provincial Tourism Office celebrate World Tourism Day & National Tourism Week 2019 with the launching of SPARK SAMAR VLOG COMPETITION wherein homegrown community-based tourism-oriented vloggers feature tourist destinations of the province.

Samar Island Natural Park is gorgeous on the surface, underneath the earth & high above it. But within its 450,000-hectare protected landscape, 840 hectares attract the most visitors — Sohoton Caves and Natural Bridge Park in Basey, Samar.
Sohoton Caves and Natural Bridge Park is a maze of natural adventures. It features caves, rivers, limestone karts formations, waterfalls, lush forest as well as a natural stone bridge. And as wonderful as what meets the eye, it’s also teeming with exotic wildlife.
he Sohoton Caves and Natural Bridge Park is a protected natural area about 841 hectares and a tourist attraction within the Samar Island Natural Park. The natural park features caves, subterranean rivers, waterfalls, limestone formations, thick forest and a natural stone bridge.It is just a small portion of the Samar Island National Park covering the 3 provinces namely Northern Samar, Eastern Samar and Samar (formerly Western Samar). The entire area is 455,700 hectares, home of the various wildlife, rivers and cave connections. It is located at Brgy. Guirang, Basey and has an area of approximately 840-hectares.[2] First established as the Sohoton Natural Bridge National Park in 1935, it was then renamed as the Sohoton Cave Natural Park, and finally to the Sohoton Cave and Natural Bridge.
he nearest airport to Sohoton Natural Park is Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport in Tacloban City, Leyte. A tourist will have the chance to cross San Juanico Bridge, the longest bridge in the Philippines that connects the islands of Samar and Leyte. There are two ways to get to the park - ride a pump boat directly or ride a habal-habal from the town to Wespal, Brgy. Girang to ride a pump boat from that point to Sohoton.
