Venture in a berth at Soldiers Point Marina, Port Stephens
We got stuck in a berth at Port Stephens for a while due to some heavy wind and wave action directly into the berth. This was only a small taste, that night it got very rough. We ended up putting another line from the stern across the motor boat next to use to a cleat on the other berth to try to keep Venture away from our berth.
We ended up staying a few days longer than we would have liked but Soldiers Point Marina ( is definitely not the worst place to get stuck at. They really looked after us and the facilities were great.
