Marathon is a city on Knight's Key, Boot Key, Key Vaca, Fat Deer Key, Long Point Key, Crawl Key and Grassy Key islands in the middle of the Florida Keys, in Monroe County, Florida, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 10,255. As of 2014, the population estimated by the U.S. Census Bureau is 8,708.

This is a detailed video of room 7 & the entire grounds of the White Sands Inn located in Marathon in the Florida Keys. The Owners are awesome! the place is great. I will say first hand, do not believe many of the negative reviews on Trip Advisor, because I personally walked around looking for those problems that were recent, & never saw anything. The beach area is not littered with trash & is not dirty. Some people are just not educated when it comes to the Keys, this is how they Keys are. We actually never smelled the sulfur smell from the ocean, but again, this is how the KEYS are, it's not the owner's fault.
You will not be disappointed staying here, unless you have Rich taste, but for a laid back Keys feel, this place is perfect.
