Driver Somporn Primjarus, 58, was delivering the boxes to a warehouse when when he lost control on a corner and toppled over on January 11 in Phuket, southern Thailand. The cans of fresh Leo beer were sent sprawling onto the road - causing hundreds of locals to descend on the scene and loot the alcohol after the crash at sunrise. Four people were later arrested for theft.

STORYLINE
Near a coast where thousands were swept to their deaths, government ministers and experts from dozens of countries gathered on Thailand's tsunami-battered Phuket island on Friday to find ways to make Asia less vulnerable to killer waves.
The two-day conference follows a broad endorsement of a tsunami early warning system at a United Nations gathering in Japan last week.
Several nations, including the United States and Germany, have drawn up plans for an alert network in the Indian Ocean.
Funding was expected to be on the agenda.
The United Nations has collected eight (m) million US dollars in pledges so far, enough to get the project started.
Host Thailand on Thursday promised another 10 (m) million US dollars, and was expected to seek donations from other countries in the region.
Delegates will also discuss what monitoring equipment nations in southern Asia already have that could be used for tsunami detection, and assess what additional hardware is needed.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, about 50 residents of Phuket attended a Buddhist ceremony dedicated to the souls of those who died in the tsunami disaster.
