A visit to Sorrento cemetery, a walk in a haunted park, an investigation in the Conti hotel and a trip to the beach to record a song with the ghost of George Coppin (founder of the hotel and Sorrento steam tram). Basically George is a legend. Actor, musician, parliamentarian, comedian and entrepreneur.

Attractions of the Bellarine Peninsula - Melbourne - Australia
The Bellarine Peninsula is close to Melbourne within an easy 1 1/2 hour drive. Great for holidays and weekend escapes, it has things to offer for all kinds of tourists and holiday makers.
There is Historic Queenscliff, with the Fort, Maritime Museum, the Vue Grand and other attractions.
Point Lonsdale has great cafes, a Lighthouse that is still operational and you can tour with prior bookings, the pier which provides great fishing and sightseeing, and is also a great spot to do some dolphin watching, as you can see in the video :)
Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale also have some excellent surf beaches that will entertain locals and visitors alike.
Take your bikes for a casual family ride from Point Lonsdale to Queenscliff along a well-kept track.
During school holidays, visit the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre for some up-close encounter with local marine life.
And don't forget to take a trip on the SeaRoad Ferries across Port Philip Bay to Sorrento while you are on the Bellarine. It's worth it on a calm and sunny day.

For the past couple of years, Pete and I have been going to the local auto shows with our favorite car brand, Kia Motors America, who is sponsoring this post.
When we get that invite to the show, Pete and I both get excited, because that means we get an early look at the cool new autos from Kia!
The funny thing about going to an auto show, like the LA Auto Show with Pete, is that we see the cars through two different sets of eyes. Where I am focused on the number of cup holders and how easy it is for me to see over the dashboard, Pete is there to see all the stats, like how fast the car can go. And, what new tech does it have?
This year since we have had a Kia at home, we saw some major crossover in our interests, especially with the new 2019 Kia Sorento! We have a Kia Sedona at home for all of our adventures, compliments of Kia.
When we travel, they also arrange for us to have either a Sedona or a Sorento. So, knowing that we will hopefully be spending a lot of time in the 2019 Kia Sorento, we both wanted to learn as much as possible about it.
You guys, we were also totally there for the Kia Hampsters. Not going to lie, as soon as we saw them, we both made a beeline to get a picture with them. I mean the LA Auto Show is all about learning, researching, and of course, fun too, right?

Fort Nepean is a former defensive facility occupying part of #PointNepean, #Victoria, #Australia. It was part of a network of fortifications, commanded from #Fort #Queenscliff, protecting the narrow entrance to Port Phillip.
Located at the very end of the peninsula, #FortNepean enables you to step into the boots of the soldiers once posted there. Fort Nepean was a critical part of Victoria’s defences from the 1880s until 1945. It was the largest and most heavily armed installation in the network of #fortifications around the entrance to #PortPhillip, and today remains an outstanding example of the evolution of gun technology and Australia’s early defence strategies. The first shot of the British Empire in #WWI and the first Australian shots of #WorldWarll were fired from Fort Nepean, earning its entry in military history. These battlements were modified and used right up until the end of World War II.

Seaside escape
Splash about at the village bay beach and have a crack at leisurely sea kayaking. Surf the waves from Bass Strait at the wild, rocky back beach. Head off from the pier for seal and dolphin swimming adventures, fishing trips and bay cruises, or explore the waters below on a scuba diving expedition.

How to ride a Vespa like an Italian on the Amalfi Coast Italy
We continued our Italian journey to Sorrento where I always wanted to rent a vespa and cruise the Amalfi coast. We road through Positano, it was one of the best experience ever, I highly recommend it if you're confident on two wheels. We stayed in a beautiful B&B with the best view in Sorrento.
