Most Surreal National Park ★ ONLY in JAPAN #53
There are some places in this world we have to visit before we die. Places that are so unbelievably beautiful that we need to see it with our own eyes to believe it. This Japanese National Park in Hitachi is one of those places. Between April 15 to May 10, it becomes a place where the ground meets the sky – the Nemophilia flowers, also known as Baby Blue Eyes, bloom making a fantastic landscape that can't be compared to anything else on earth.
Hitachi Seaside Park (国営ひたち海浜公園) is also an amusement park. In fact, there are 7 different areas to explore inside the park, all for a reasonable entry cost of 410 yen for adults, 80 yen for kids.

How to get there:
BY TRAIN
From Tokyo, take the JOBAN LINE from Ueno Station to KATSUTA STATION (勝田駅).
There are express trains leaving twice an hour.
70 Minutes (express) approx. 3820 yen / local train 2110 yen
At KATSUTA STATION to the Park:
1) There is a local bus leaving every 15 minutes for 200 yen
2) A taxi will take 10 minutes and cost about 2000 yen.
3) You can also take Hitachinaka Seaside Railway to Ajigaura Station then walk 20 minutes.
The JR RAIL PASS is valid on all express trains this way.
For reserved seating, make a reservation in advance at the ticket office.

A cseresznye virágzása nagyon látványos. A hatalmas, tömött gömbök akkor borulnak virágba, amikor a többi fa még kopár, épp csak ébredezni kezd. ☆ TeamLab Jungle was exhibited on the 9th floor of Shibuya Hikarie from July 28th to September 10th 2017.
TeamLab Jungle includes “teamLab Jungle - Light Art and Music” - an interactive show combining music and light art and “Learn & Play! Future Park” - an area full of interactive digital installation artworks.
TeamLab Jungle was divided into 2 types: Kids Noon for children and Art Night for adults. The show in this video was Art Night.
I filmed this a long time ago. I'm not in Japan at the moment and I forgot to bring the footage of the video that I wanna edit with me, so I ended up editing this one instead. I'm sorry that the quality is not that good (shaky footage and sometimes out of focus T.T)

En el S XIV por un encargo del el shōgun Ashikaga Yoshimasa , los artesanos japoneses desarrollaron una técnica llamada kintsugi para reparar las porcelanas rotas uniendo sus trozos con oro, plata o platino.
La porcelana así reparadada es considerada más bella y valiosa.
La quema de los bosques por intereses urbanísticos, madereros o ganaderos es una práctica que está acabando con muchas masas forestales del planeta. Es necesaria la toma de conciencia, es necesaria la acción.
El bosque de Kintsugi, es una video instalación y un ritual simbólico de reparación y sanación de los arboles heridos.
Los árboles que vemos en el video son eucaliptus, una especie de crecimiento rápido pero que deseca el suelo y arde con mucha facilidad. Son los arboles preferidos por los especuladores madereros.
En diciembre del 2010 varios incendios asolaron el Monte Carmel, al sur
de Haifa. Las ramas utilizadas en esta video-instalacion han sido recogidas
en ese lugar
Sobre los troncos del bosque quemado, hojas de oro en señal de reparación y para resaltar el valor del bosque aunque se encuentre herido por un incendio.
Después de un fuego solo se oye el viento arañando la tierra.

Tokyo Underground Mysteries Game w/ Tokidokitraveller
The Underground Mysteries is an open field type game where you have to physically ride the trains, pick up clues and hints along the way, and uncover hidden mysteries in Tokyo.
This game is only available until the end of January but they have a new game every year!

I'm back in Tokyo for the fourth time, this time rather than studying I've come to work as a model. Life is slow and all I do is walk around the city and go to castings, but on the way I come across cute things like flowers, shrines, and treats.

Tokyo Oi Racecourse Dazzles with Illumination | JAPAN Forward
Full Story:
In Tokyo’s Shinagawa ward, the Oi Racecourse is hosting the “Tokyo Mega Illumination” lights festival, and it is already the talk of the town.
Eight million LED lights are spread over a space of 300 000 square meters, reproducing Japan from the Edo period to the present day.
Looking around, you can see couples and families admiring the impressive glittering lights.
Just after exiting the underground corridor, “Japan’s Original Landscape” spreads before you. This is made up of colorful rice fields and rural scenery, beautifully representing the changing of the seasons. Onlookers happily snap away at the lights depicting the lovely landscape.
“It’s beautiful, it really conveys a nostalgic feeling” said a 62-year-old man from Yokohama who tagged along with his wife.
“I feel suddenly very light and relieved!” he explained, smiling.
Makoto Sugisaki, 47-years-old, who came with his wife and six-year-old daughter, also enjoyed the event, saying, “It’s very spacious and pleasant, so it was fun to come with all the family.”
The last day of the 2018 installation will be on December 28. After a break in order to change one section, the illuminations can be enjoyed by visitors from January 12 all the way through March. Opening hours are from 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. on weekends and public holidays, and 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. on weekdays.
Even if horse racing isn’t your thing, you might just have found a reason to head to Oi Racecourse. Insta-opportunity, anyone?
