David Thompson is revered as a national hero in Canada, but is less well known to Americans. Uncharted Territory: David Thompson on the Columbia Plateau focuses on the years 1807-1812, the time that Thompson spent primarily in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and northwestern United States, and the significant contributions that he made to the history of the American Northwest.

Action on the Columbia (1965)
On Sept. 16, 1964, Canadian Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson, B.C. Premier W.A.C. Bennett, and U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson ratified an international agreement between Canada and the United States known as the Columbia River Treaty to guide the management of water resources of the Columbia River Basin, provide economic development and help prevent major floods. “Action on the Columbia” was made by the information services of British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority to convey the benefits and effects of the Columbia River Treaty to the people of British Columbia. The film features spectacular aerial views of the upper Columbia River before the dams went in. In honor of the 50th anniversary of its signing, BC Hydro permitted BPA to include the film in this collection. The digital transfer was made from an original 16 mm color film print.

Kootenai
Provides a history of the region surrounding the Kootenai (or Kootenay) River, a major tributary of the Columbia River that flows through British Columbia, Montana and Idaho. Discusses the significance of the river to the Ktunaxa (Kootenai) Indian tribes of the area, as well as its importance to early industrial endeavors such as trapping, mining, logging, and the railroad. Concludes with views of the Libby Dam near Libby, Montana - a United States Army Corps of Engineers-operated structure that was dedicated on August 24, 1975. Install a RV Roof Top A/C Unit on a Forest River Pop Up Camper Tent Trailer
A comprehensive video overview of the installation of a Dometic 13, 500 BTU Brisk Air II RV rooftop air conditioning unit on my Forest River Rockwood 2280 pop up camper tent trailer.
This install video is essentially identical for all pop up campers made by Forest River over the past 15 years that have the built in factory roof bracing to support the heavy a/c unit.
I am sure this install video is also applicable to other brands of pop ups and even for travel trailers too. Check your manufacturer specs before beginning.
I personally chose to install a Dometic Brisk Air II but if you want to install a Coleman or an Advent unit the procedure is the same.
The powering requirements for the install require a minimum #12 AWG wire and 20 amp breaker. Most pop ups should have a sufficiently sized shore power cable to accommodate the electrical load of the a/c and converter. Most campers should have the 20 amp breaker pre-installed from the factory.
