To enjoy this 3D documentary about South Africa, remember to wear anaglyph 3D glasses* whenever the symbol appears on your screen.
The African spirit brings to mind vast tribal cultures, amazing wildlife and unsolved mysteries. South Africa is a country full of contrasts. At the southern tip of the continent, you’ll discover a wide range of racial diversity.
There are 11 official languages, however Africans and English are the two most common. South Africa offers the visitor a breathtaking selection of rare species.

Touring Cape Point in Cape Town, South Africa
With our time extremely limited in Cape Town, we decided to take a Cape Point Peninsula tour to cover as many of the main scenic attractions in the surrounding area as we possibly could. Our hectic day included visiting Seal Island, Boulders Penguin Colony, and the Cape of Good Hope doing boat tours, hiking and biking. We spotted wild Ostriches and Baboons. At one point we spotted a baboon on top of a car with the lady inside freaking out. To say the day was eventful would be an understatement; however, the one wrinkle was that the weather was quite crappy. I really wish we could have done this tour on a nicer day.

Touring Cape Point in Cape Town, South Africa Travel Video Transcript:
So, good morning from rainy Cape Town. Today we've signed up to do a Cape Point and Peninsula tour. So we're going to be traveling down to Cape Point by bus. We're also hauling some bicycles along. So once we get there we're planning to go biking, do a little bit of hiking and we're going to see some sights along the way. It should be fun and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rain holds off.
So this morning we're taking a boat tour to Seal Island and hopefully we'll spot some seals along the way.
We're going in search of penguins.
I've seemed to spot a rather large unusual penguin over here. It looks rather uncoordinated. And a little bit silly.
So we're not allowed to get too close to the penguins. They may be cute but they're quite vicious with their little beaks.
Alright, so this is where the fun begins. We've arrived at the Cape of Good Hope and right now we're unloading the bikes. We're going to get all suited up and get ready to go biking. Finally!
We're biking in a National Park and apparently it could be a bit like a mini safari. There has been a lot of animals spotted here. Especially baboons.
Having fun so far? I am but I look a little bit ridiculous but I'm trying to stay warm. It is windy out here.
Okay, so we've just finished biking five kilometers. Now it is time for our delicious lunch. What do we have? I'm going to enjoy this. We've got a lovely sandwich and Malay macaroni salad. I can't wait for that salad. Yeah, so we're going to fuel up and then keep biking for another six point five kilometers. So we need our energy.
Alright, so we have arrived at the Cape of Good Hope. This is the southwestern most point on the African continent. So as you can see over there lots of people snapping their photos.
The weather is still not cooperating with us. It is cold, it is wet, it is raining but we're still going to go for a hike so let's go find our guide and get going.
Smart phone? Hello? Aaahahaha. Go away! Okay guys, keep all windows locked. They smell food. Wow, she is screaming.
Well we didn't spot animals while we were actually on our bikes. But while we were in the vehicle we saw ostriches and we saw baboons. And the baboons were being crazy. One was right on top of a vehicle and a lady freaked out totally.
And that concludes our Cape Point tour. The sun is just coming out just as we're about to leave. That is just how it is sometimes.
This is part of our Travel in South Africa series. We're making a series of videos showcasing South African culture, South African arts, South African foods, South African religion, South African cuisine and South African people.

Why I Love South Africa | From Safari in Kruger to Cape Town Adventures and Townships with Uthando
The country of South Africa is one amazing place as we learned quickly from our honeymoon trip as first-timers. What's NOT to love is really the question. From doing both the private reserve at Elephant Plains to self-drive in Kruger National Park to hopping over to Cape Town and enjoying everything that the Western Cape has to offer. We loved the animals. We loved the glorious landscapes. We loved the unexpected adventures. We loved meeting the locals. We loved learning the stories of the past, present, and future.
???? I purchased a multi-trip travel insurance policy before we left for our honeymoon and it was so easy with Kanetix.ca. Just punch in ⌨️ my requirements and bam ???? it was there ????. It was that easy.

Southern Africa Family Trip vlog 2019: Victoria Falls, South Africa, Cape Town, Kruger National Park
In August 2019, we took an amazing family trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe. Our journey began in Victoria Falls, where we swam in Devil's Pool and made day trips into Zambia and to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Then, we flew down to Cape Town. We visited Table Mountain, Langa Township, and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, before taking a day trip out to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope. We spent 2 nights in Simonstown, and loved visiting the friendly penguins at Boulders Beach! Finally, we flew to Johannesburg, drove the gorgeous Panorama Route to Kruger National Park, and spent 5 nights on safari, splitting our time between Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge and Hamilton's Tented Camp on the Mluwati Concession.
We saw incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes, and met some of the friendliest people! Africa definitely has our hearts, and we hope to one day be back.
Filmed on GoPro Hero 7 Black, Canon 77D and iPhone 6.

South African Adventures | Otter Trail, Tsitsikamma National Park
Otter Trail Tsitsikamma National Park 2017
THE Otter Trail... one of the coolest experiences of my life! A 20 kg pack, seaside cliffs, log cabins on the beach, dolphins, whales, friends! Need I say more? We made some friends on the Drakensberg trip, one of them named Dev, who invited us along on the 12-person Otter journey, where we made some lifelong friends while taking on an epic 5-day 45km hike! The trip to the start point was a journey in itself as we drove out of a hurricane in Cape Town, straight into massive wildfires on the Garden Route, but eventually it all worked out! Hopefully you enjoy the video, and maybe it'll even inspire you to do the trip as well!

SOUTH AFRICA's CITY, SURF, SAFARI & MANDELA - JOHANNESBURG, DURBAN, & CAPE TOWN
If you never have been to Africa, South Africa is a great place to start. You can make a full go of South Africa alone or include it as an add on to any of the other Southern African destinations. It is a jumping-off point for many other countries from Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, Namibia, and Botswana. It is a must-visit and a great revisit as the country and several of the cities continue to evolve.
This vid will take you in and out of Jo'Burg, the iconic Soweto and into Maboneng, Jo'Burg's Brooklyn for a street graffiti tour. It includes stops into the seaside city of Durban and on safari in Kwa Zulu Natal with a finish in Capetown. Additionally, you will see a nod to Mandela throughout, particularly at INDABA, Africa's Travel conference.

VLOG #14 -- South African safari & Cape Town adventure
I ate raw crocodile, held a live millipede, and came within 10 feet of wild elephants and lions -- SO MANY HIGHLIGHTS in this video.
This was a nine-day trip with my family, and we started in Cape Town. We visited the Cape of Good Hope, checked out some vineyards, spent time on Table Mountain, hit up the beach, and toured the famous Langa Township. I fed ostriches, took selfies with penguins, learned how to speak Zulu, and gained five pounds. Seriously. That's how much I ate.
I know you guys mostly subscribe for baseball, and I'll have plenty of it coming soon, but this trip was too cool not to share. Enjoy!

In this vlog I showcase all of the beauty I was struck by on my first visit to Africa, as I traveled around Capetown, SA. I was able to see a lot of animals, eat great food, do adventurous activities and spend a lot of time in nature. This was my most beautiful trip yet! My heart was truly full.
**Also, I am someone who is big on financial literacy and saving money for your future, and believe it's smart for everyone to do so, but in my beginning message, I wanted to point out that it isn't the only thing that is important. We all need balance, and I always want to find balance between saving (and paying off my student debt. eek!) and paying to have one of a kind experiences. So I am not a believer of irresponsibly traveling and taking out debt to travel! Plan, prepare and save up!**
