We went to our local pool Southland leisure centre in calgary alberta for some fun, decided to make a short edit just for fun. Hope you enjoy!

City of Calgary playschool & preschool programs at Southland & Village Square leisure centres
We visited one of Calgary Playschools at Village Square Leisure Centre to chat with Connie Donais, Recreation Program Specialist about their 2019-2020 school year programs for children two to four years old. Connie showed us around and told us all about their amazing school year programs, seasonal and drop-in programs, the facilities, the schedule and the registration process. Children will learn through play, crafts, stories and educational themes using a variety of resources and amenities with the guidance of The City’s experienced instructors.
Programs are available at Village Square and Southland leisure centres, plus Killarney Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Glenmore Aquatic Centre and Thornhill Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

Tube Park in Canada Olympic Park
Canada Olympic Park is the largest tube park in Western Canada (at the time of filming). It has 10 lanes, but not all of them were open at our time of visit.
It has a dedicated magic carpet just for this activity which is a great feature. The further away from the magic carpet the lane is, typically the slower the said lane is. Some of the lanes have hay or rubber mat and foam on the end to slow down the rider. There is also a staff that holds the foam. Beyond that, there is a net and a steel fence if all else fails. Pretty safe if you ask me.
By the way we were supposed to hold the tube in front of us when riding the magic carpet (somebody told us after a few rides up and down) :)

My 2yr old toddlers swimming lesson, it's his 2nd time around, they train to walk on swim pad to balance,sing nursery songs with actions, walk and jump and lots of things

The 600 solar panels on the roof of the Southland Leisure Centre will offset a portion of the facility’s electricity usage and help support the City of Calgary’s commitment to reducing greenhouse emissions.

Rising flood waters in Calgary have prompted the mandatory evacuation of 26 low-lying communities.
Gas and power are being shut off in these neighborhoods and residents are being asked to leave immediately.
For a comprehensive list of affected city services, including a list of neighborhoods under evacuation orders, check the City of the Calgary blog.
The following neighbourhoods are under a mandatory evacuation order as of 6:30 a.m. Friday.
