The remains of 17th-century Sendai Castle, built for samurai lord Date Masamune on Aoba Hill, overlook the city and include a museum of historic artifacts. The Sendai City Museum focuses on the history and culture of Japan’s Edo period and displays Masamune’s samurai armor.

In this video we are heading directly to Miyagi Prefecture from Narita Airport by overnight bus. On the first day we'll explore the Shiogama area, known for it's fish market and shrine. Then take a pleasant cruise through Matsushima Bay past the many pine covered islands that dot the bay. Lastly we'll explore the quaint port town of Matsushima.
On day two we head to the big city of Sendai where we ride the Loople Sendai bus to many famous spots including Zuihoden and Aoba Castle. We end the day and trip walking through the large shopping arcade which leads back to Sendai Station.

Today we are visiting Sendai Japan. This is a huge city near the north eastern coast of the main island. Big downtown with a great skyline. It also has tons of beautiful large single family homes along narrow streets around the city. I would love to visit and check out the history and get some drinks from those big vending machines.

Sightseeing in Sendai, Japan
こんにちは！Long time no video! I went to Sendai, Japan around November last year with some friends. It was a bit chilly but absolutely beautiful with the leaves changing colour.
Attractions:
Yamadera - nice walk up with beautiful scenery
Matsushima - good water views, touristy stores, tasty food (oysters!)
Ōsaki Hachimangū - pretty at night
We also enjoyed the city shops. There are plenty more things to do, but we only had a few days.
We stayed at Miyagi Guest House (link below), which was a bit difficult to find but the owner was very kind and there were kotatsu (heated tables).

Spring Break in Japan: Shopping in Sendai
Back with another vlog for you guys! This time I went on a road trip with my family to a city called Sendai! It was about 4 hours drive there, it was raining and the weather was just so bad but that didn't stop us from going there because it was supposed to be my sister's and I's birthday gift . Also, our spring break is about to end very soon so we needed to do something fun before we get back to school.
