L'immense maison, avec ses 400 metres carrés (4305,6 pieds carrés) de superficie habitable a été complètement rénovée en 2008. Elle possède 5 cheminées en pierre de taille, 5 salles de bains, 1 salle d'eau, de nombreux placards et espaces de rangement, une cuisine entièrement équipée avec un grill intérieur, un grand salon à aire ouverte avec foyer et verrière qui offre une vue sur le lac, une salle à manger donnant sur la terrasse, 5 chambres, 3 avec cheminée en pierre de taille, toutes avec salle de bain attenante et dont une avec chambre enfants, et bien plus encore.

It features 5 stone fireplaces, 5 bathrooms, 1 half bath, numerous closets and storage spaces, a fully-equipped kitchen with inside grill, a large open-concept living room with fireplace and glass solarium that offers a view of the lake, a dining room overlooking the terrace, 5 bedrooms (3 with stone fireplaces), all with adjoining bathrooms, and one with an adjoining child's room ... and so much more.
This immense private lakefront property, with it's 150 m (492 ft.) of shoreline stretches over 2 hectares (4.9 acres) of land. (right to build as these are two adjacent lots) is situated in mature woodlands. This beautiful property enjoys a Virginia-clay tennis court, a basketball court, a terrace overlooking the lake, a heated saltwater swimming pool, and a cedar spa. The 180 square metres (1937 sq. ft.) of outbuildings include a double garage (4 cars) and large space which we used as a heated kennel. There is 900 ft of storage space below the garage accesible by truck. A beautiful, paved-and-lighted driveway leads to the house. A significant portion of the property is fenced.

A journey time-lapsed from Sudbury to Kirkland Lake. Part I was the trip from Sudbury to Kirkland Lake, while this one is the return trip (with a lot more extra distance since we ended up going to Lively).
This time we had the thought to wash the windscreen before leaving (which lasted about 10 minutes owing to the wet dirt on the roads being kicked up), but it turned out pretty good in the end. The varying weather ranges from sunny, to rainy, to torrential downpours; all visible in the sky as the clouds roll fast on the lapse.
Route goes from Kirkland Lake, Swastika, onto Ontario HIghway 11, then through Charlton and Dack and Englehart. From there, Earlton, Temiskaming Shores, Dymond, Latchford, and Temagami. We went through Marten River (where the alternate route starts), and this time we went through Tilden Lake and then North Bay, then onto HIghway 17 West, through Nipissing and Sturgeon Falls, and then all the towns before Sudbury. Last leg was Copper Cliff, then Walden, then Lively, arriving at a bait shop.
