I tried floatation therapy which is a sensory deprivation experience
Floatation therapy is a sensory deprivation treatment which people use for pain relief and meditation.
You lie in water for around an hour which is full of Epsom salts to help you float. The tank is sealed, which means you lie in complete darkness and silence. Some people say the treatment can even be hallucinatory.
Business Insider's Tech reporter Rob Price went to Floatworks in Vauxhall, London to try it out. This is his experience.

Using a body scrub on a client in the salon - tips & tricks (to use at home too)
Here is a simple tutorial on full body exfoliation. It's great as a pre-tanning treatment or simply to remove a build up of dry skin or old, patchy tan. Always remember to be careful around broken skin or areas of sensitivity. Don't use a oil-based scrub before tanning or this could cause streaks and remember that sugar scrubs will dissolve when rinsed off with water but salt scrubs will not and could sting if you have any cuts or abrasions.

What to Expect on a Silent Retreat : Vlog 70
For show notes click on the link above
Over the next week I am preparing to go on a week-long silent retreat. There are not many places in our culture that encourage silence or stillness. In fact there we are mostly immersed in noise and busy-ness.
I begin this vlog by exploring two places of quiet in my home-town, Victoria B.C. that offer silence. There is Christ Church Cathedral that allows you to come in anytime for quiet prayer or meditation. This is a beautiful place for that is always open for silence in our community. Another place of quiet is our public library.
On Tuesday of this week, I prepared for a week in silence by immersing myself in sensory deprivation for an hour at Float House Victoria. At float house I floated in water that had 1200 pounds of epsom salts dissolved into it. For me the best part of it was the sensory elimination of light and sound. I thoroughly enjoyed the hour in complete quiet and darkness.
Next week I will be going on a week-long silent retreat. I will be immersing myself in somatic meditation taught by Neil McKinlay through the lineage of Dharma Ocean. The retreat, The Journey Home is designed to connect us with our inner wisdom and be a transformational journey in which we are supported and held.
We have a daily schedule where we meditate from the early morning until mid-evening with meal breaks and an afternoon open period. We alternate 45 minutes of sitting meditation with 15 minutes of walking meditation. During the retreat to enter into Noble Silence. Noble Silence includes taking a break from talking, reading, writing, emailing, and texting. We are asked to take a complete break from all our work and there is no cell reception on the retreat site itself.
What to expect from a silent retreat and what actually happens on a silent retreat are probably two different things. I have spent several days in silence in the past and one of the things that I love and appreciate about them is that the energy that normally goes out from communicating remains inside and so for me it is quite refreshing and energizing in many ways.
In other ways, there is nowhere to hide and no way to distract yourself. You are completely alone with yourself. I have noticed in the days leading up to the retreat an intensity in relationship and emotions. I know that this most likely will be present on the retreat as well.
Let me know in the comments what is your relationship to silence? Do you take time in silence daily? Have you ever been on a silent retreat? If so, what was the experience like for you?
Thanks for watching. If you liked the video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe.
Namaste, Melissa

Customer Reviews of Ferrari Driving Experiences
Malcolm Mccarthy, Brixham
Hi, thanks for organising one of the best days I have ever enjoyed, the old saying should be changed to life begins at 60 brilliant gift, brilliant instructors and a brilliant car.
Paul Stroud, Epsom
Ominous start to the day, thick fog, congestion as well as accidents on the motorway and time slipping by, will we make it to the track on time? Having arrived in the nick of time we were informed by Staff that the track wasn't ready for use due to the fog but not to give up hope as another inspection was due. Nothing for it but to drink hot chocolate and play on the Scalectrix. The staff updated us on conditions and soon informed us all was clear and I was called for my ride. Knees knocking, stomach churning I followed Alfie my instructor to the Ferrari. Alfie was as cool as a cucumber as he explained about safety and gave me driving instructions, was this man mad he had never seen me drive yet. I was behind the wheel of a Ferrari on a race track and he was in the passenger seat. Alfie encouraged me round the track even encouraged me to go faster. Wow what an experience, what a car, a fantastic Christmas present beats socks any day. Let's hope Santa is as good to me again this year!

What is vaginal steaming/Vagina Detox ? # Vagina Detox Process #Benefits vaginal steaming .#
The vagina is an organ of detox itself. Women have a menstrual cycle every month, hormone fluctuations, babies, and a man’s penis to contend with. As women age, their vaginas need healthy cleansing. The popular down under treatment, vaginal steaming, commonly known as v-steam, is an ancient African treatment that provides a steam facial for the vagina to release toxins, soothing menstrual cramps and promoting fertility.
Vaginal steam baths, also known as Yoni bath is an ancient African practice and is still popular among black women in the Caribbean. Black Africans are leading this new vaginal revolution here in the United States. You can find professional vaginal steams at African spas in most major cities or you can do it yourself. The benefits are too intriguing to pass up.
The benefits include: reducing hormonal cramps or PMS cramps, fights viruses, infections, helps in relaxation, fibroid, endometriosis, can increase fertility, helps a baby turn in the right position once the due date gets close, helps to improve hemorrhoids, and will help tone and tighten the vagina. The basis for a vaginal steam is red raspberry leaf tea. You will generally find the addition of Mugwort, black walnut and other herbs depending on the reason for your steam.
How does vaginal steaming works?
Wearing a long dress from the waist down, the woman squats down without underwear over a steaming pot of water infused with natural herbs. Raspberry leaf, basil, oregano, wormwood, and rosemary, but the predominant herb in the steam bath is raspberry leaf. During the process, which should last for about 20 to 45 minutes, the v-steam supposedly dilates the blood vessels, increasing blood circulation, providing oxygen, and relaxing the pelvic floor.
How to do a Vagina Detox – Phase one
Get a cup of herbs and mix it well with two Quarts of water with a pinch of Himalayan salt. Let sit overnight.
The next morning, bring to a boil and cut down to a simmer for ten minutes. Then let rest, off the heat, for another 20 minutes. Pour the contents in a heavy bowl and place it in your toilet. Grab a few blanket to wrap around you and undress. Carefully sit on the toilet, wrap up in a blanket and rest for 20 minutes with the vaginal steam.
When the time is up, wrap the blanket around you and either go outside where the sun is shining or wrap up in bed for another 20 minutes.

Health Benefits of Magnesium Floats
For more anti-inflammatory information and recipes, visit my website at
Floating in Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate) soothes the inflammation of joints, back pain, neck, shoulder, and hip stiffness, arthritic conditions, and most strains and sprains.
Epsom salt has been proven to be highly absorbable by the skin resulting in countless benefits to the body including detoxification, strengthening of the immune system, heightened endorphin release, and relief from physical, mental, and emotional stress and fatigue.
Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems that regulate diverse biochemical reactions in the body, including protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, and blood pressure regulation.
Floating creates deep mental relaxation, allowing the brain to produce a greater amount of theta waves, generally resulting in an increase in mental clarity, creativity and memory function. It is said to increase the release of the endorphins, which leads to elevated mood states and alleviation of anxiety, depression, and negative mental habits.

18 signs That You Are Magnesium Deficient | How To Increase Magnesium Naturally
In this video I will show you 18 signs that you are magnesium deficient
Trying to make sure you’re getting enough of every single beneficial vitamin and mineral is a tricky task. Even if you think you eat from a variety of different food groups, it’s still easy to become deficient in a particular nutrient that you’ve managed to miss out on. Magnesium in particular is sometimes hard to get enough of in the average daily diet, which can lead to a number of health problems over time.
So What is magnesium?
Magnesium is a mineral that’s important for maintaining good bone structure. It’s found in more than 300 enzymes in the body, which help with the processes that regulate a number of different functions, including the production of energy, body protein and muscle contractions. Magnesium also plays a role in maintaining good heart health.
It’s thought that most of us don’t get anywhere near the magnesium we need, with some experts suggesting that it’s the biggest widespread general health issue of the current time. The amount of magnesium a person generally needs varies – some people need more than others, depending on factors like age and gender. Getting your magnesium from foods is the best way to ensure you’re taking in enough of the mineral, but you can also supplement additionally if you need to. If you want to know what is the best magnesium supplements on the market then click here.
Here are 18 Signs of magnesium deficiency
No1 Constipation
If you’re unable to go to the toilet as frequently as usual, or you can’t go at all, you’re dealing with constipation. Constipation can be a sign of a lack of magnesium so it’s a good idea to take magnesium supplements regularly. This is because magnesium has the ability to draw it increases the water level in the bowels and helps to relax muscles within the intestinal wall, making it easier to move foods through your system.
No2 Increased stress levels
Magnesium helps to regulate cortisol levels, helping your body respond better to stress or danger and allowing for more balanced hormone production. Magnesium increases GABA, which encourages relaxation as well as sleep. Without enough magnesium, we’re at risk of having low levels of GABA in the body, which can lead to increased stress levels.
No3 Anxiety and depression
Magnesium has been proven in studies to improve both anxiety and depression. The mineral plays an important role in regulating neurotransmitters, which send messages throughout the brain and body. When these neurotransmitters aren’t regulated, you’re more likely to experience feelings of anxiety and depression. Many people today use magnesium solely to treat an anxiety disorder.
No4 Weakened bones
Magnesium is key for the absorption and metabolism of calcium, which we all know is essential for strong and health bones. A number of studies have found that not enough can lower the levels of bone minerals, while getting enough dietary magnesium can increase bone mineral density, helping to reduce the risk of osteoporosis, weakened bones and bone fractures.
No5 Poor sleep quality
We’ve already mentioned the neurotransmitter GABA and its role in helping the body to regulate its sleep system. GABA receptors in the brain need magnesium to function properly – and without a good supply of the mineral, you’ll struggle to sleep deeply and for the right amount of time. It’s possible that increasing your magnesium intake alone will help to naturally improve your sleep cycle.
No6 Unhealthy skin
Your skin is the biggest organ in your body, and a combination of factors affect how healthy it is. If you’re lacking in magnesium, you might experience an increase in acne and skin disorders like psoriasis. This is because magnesium helps to improve your skin's overall appearance, reducing a number of skin disorders by lowering your levels of cortisol and helping to stabilize hormonal imbalances. Magnesium can also improve the processes carried out by your skin cells to ensure skin health is at a maximum.
No7 Poor cognitive function
