Our third, Castle Lough Eske in Donegal Ireland. The spa is amazing, the castle looks like a fairytail castle and the town Donegal is so cute.

LOUGH ESKE CASTLE, CO, DONEGAL, IRELAND. LIFE AFTERLIFE TV PRODUCTIONS. EXPLORING CASTLE AND GROUNDS
This location has been the most stunning location i have filmed so far and it was great to walk the grounds and look inside this beautiful place that only 15 years ago was a castle ruin in a field. The Castle was once owned by the O Donnell family and date back to the 14 century and had been taken over by the British. In the early 1900s the Castle suffered a major fire and it was in a ruined state until 15 years ago when it was bought and restored to be used as a hotel. Being a ruin for so many years meant that none of the original featured remained inside the castle but it was restored in such a way as to bring back the character to the building and this was done beautifully. The grounds also had major work carried out creating gardens and erecting bronze sculptures which are dotted around the grounds.
