Equinox hotel Manchester Vermont.
The equinox house was established in 1853. Several presidents visited here. William Howard taft and Theodore Roosevelt to name a couple. President Lincoln was going to visit the summer he was assasinated. Bottled water was processed here in the 1880s, from Mount equinox which is located behind the hotel. In the 1920s is was shut down and abandoned falling into ruin. The building was put on the national register for historic places and saved from destruction on November 1972. It was taken over by the Galesi group in 1974 and restored at the cost of 20 million dollars. It is now owned by Hei resorts and hotels.
