Space View Park, Titusville, Florida, United States, North America
Space View Park is located in Titusville Florida directly across the Indian River from NASA's Launch Complex 39 at the Kennedy Space Center. Space View Park is not a campground. On a good, clear day the rocket can be viewed for about Four minutes in total. With binoculars, the launch can be tracked for longer.
Dolphins at Space View Park, Titusville FL
There were some dolphins playing in the water by the park on Shuttle Discovery's final launch day. :D
Falcon Heavy Launch from Space View Park, Titusville
Not professional, but this is exactly how I remember it looking.
I think they also call this place Astronaut Park

More Dolphins at Space View Park, Titusville FL
Here they were being really playful and splashing around.
Also, that bridge was completely lined with people along the edge later in the day. The turnout for this launch was incredible! I can't even imagine what the final launch of the shuttle program entirely will be like!
SpaceX launch from Space View Park
On Nov 15, 2018, we watched this SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch. We were over 10 miles away at Space View Park in Titusville, FL (28°36'50.1N 80°48'14.1W), so it doesn't show up very well on video -- but it was still really cool to see in person.
Space Museum - Titusville, Florida - REAL USA Ep. 39
Welcome to Episode 39 of the REAL United States Video Blog (Vlog) about average life in the United States. Bev and I visit the US Space Walk of Fame Museum in Titusville, Florida. It is a small museum, and simply does not have the room to display all of its collection at once. Still, it is an interesting mix of space memorabilia both US and Russian.

2010 is the last year for the Space Shuttle program. After Atlantis, there will be only two more lift offs.
Atlantis lift off was the only one this year during day light hours - @ 2:20 pm on a Friday, May 14, 2010 off Floridas East Coast.
I traveled to Cape Canaveral area to witness the lift off. These videos are from that day and the next day from the Lift off, Kennedy Space Center, a bar in Titusville.
Made a friend there with Randy who took the most incredible lift off video that my camera would allow.
After Atlantis, I am thinking that I need to go and see the two remaining lift offs even though they are not during day light hours
STS135 Atlantis Launch as seen from Space View Park Titusville, FL, July 8, 2011
My camcorder footage of people at SpaceView Park in Titusville, FL viewing launch of STS-135 Atlantis. I focused on them instead of Shuttle as many others will get better video than I would with my cheapie handheld. Pardon the fast pan and tilt, this is all very raw uncut.
My Bendix King radio monitored 146.94 (K4GCC repeater) which local hams re-transmit NASA-TV audio during launch. PA system setup in the park was about 5 seconds behind. PA system is a local service by volunteers which many speakers blare audio from NASA-TV so viewers can hear status of the flight along with air-to-ground comms.
With another radio I monitored 126.65 the NASA air support where other astronauts fly above to give overview and evaluate weather for RTLS landings.
Many stills I took while at Titusville of various people and surroundings at my Flickr page:
For updates while STS135 flying, I refer to this page,
where you can download the TV schedule in PDF or XLS to find out key events such as mission status briefings, MPLM transfers, de-orbit burns, etc.
Just prior to picking up the count, you can hear the crowd yell, move that boat! (I first thought it was no more holds) in reference to a large cabin cruiser that drifted in front of direct view of Pad 39 from viewers at Space Park.
Some other Youtubers at Space View Park include this one by @twirlandswirl that captures the emotions of the people,
@SunDolphinProduction shows the people gathering, nice transition of music at liftoff (and that boat cleared from his view just before launch).
@davemckiernan had his scanner on 259.700 MHz and was able to hear directly from the Shuttle as it ascended.
Incidently that is the same frequency used by Neil and Buzz (along with two other UHF freq) when they walked the surface of the moon.
@ishouldlogoff was standing in the water in front of the condos by Space View Park.
These two videos from @Khaller1226 high up in the condos shows all the people at Space View Park, on Max Brewer bridge, and in the water.
Collection of stills by @jwalker8585 prior to launch, and the infamous boat just cleared their view of Pad 39A.
@jssts135 took this video way back in the crowds and was in near panic and agony when his cellphone cam was low on battery power, but got The Moment
@jillnntrav on her way to work in Titusville on morning of launch took this video showing hoards of cars parked in every available spot including parking lot of where she works,
For some really good video, camera close to Pad 39A, and provides useful engineering/scientific data, Louise and JT from Ames Research Center took these photos and vid:
Space Shuttle Monument construction continues at Spaceview Park, Titusville, Florida
On Saturday August 9th, the main Space Shuttle monument emblem was installed on its base at the Space Walk of Fame in Spaceview Park, Titusville, Florida. This required a large crane as it is made of very heavy stainless steel. The next step is to add the granite facing to the base. As you can see, many volunteers from the Space Walk of Fame Foundation and Museum showed up to assist.

Manatee Hammock Campgrounds drive through review
Watch as we drive through Manatee Hammock campgrounds in Titusville Florida near Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center.
This was a very clean campground with water frontage in the back, a swimming pool, laundry, rec room, pavilion, dog park, horseshoes, shuffle board and more. The price was very reasonable for full hook up. It is also convenient to I95 if you are driving by. Check out the video for a drive through tour.
