I am most distressed about Connecticut's new firearms laws. I am writing to encourage your company (and every other Connecticut based firearm/accessory manufacturer) to relocate to another less restrictive state. Reducing Connecticut's tax revenue and curtailing economic activity within the state is a necessary and appropriate response to these draconian gun restrictions.
I understand that moving to another state is a daunting challenge. However I, and many others, feel that we have a duty to undermine Connecticut's misguided infringement upon the citizenry's right to bear arms. Nobody expects any business to relocate overnight. So we will continue to support those companies that take steps to move out of Connecticut with all deliberate speed. Ultimately the aim is to boycott products and services substantially connected to the State of Connecticut.
In addition I also encourage your company to refrain from doing business with the State of Connecticut. Many arms makers have refused to sell product to agencies from states with unduly restrictive gun laws, and I believe this is also appropriate. Of course this might impose a financial hardship. So I give companies that refuse business from restrictive states preferred supplier status for all of my firearms related needs. That is I (and many others) will make a concerted effort to purchase goods from and refer other individuals to those preferred providers.
