Troncones, Mexico
The nearest airport to Troncones is Zihuatanejo. Alaska air has regular service from Los Angeles and the flight duration is about 3 hours and twenty minutes. From the airport it’s about a half an hour to the tiny coastal town of Troncones. There are a number of hotels and house rentals and one of the highest rated is Present Moment Resort located directly on the beach. There are 11 palapas (or bungalows) which surround the pool and lush tropical garden. The resort offers daily yoga, meditation and a multitude of wellness treatments.
The restaurant at Present Moment features both Mexican as well as a healthy, organic menu with vegetarian and gluten-free options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The smoothies and fresh juices are exceptional… especially the local roasted cacao.
About 10 minutes north of Trancones is Playa la Boca, a virtually deserted beach where the only crowd one might see is the occasional heard of cattle. This is a surfer’s paradise with both left and right breaks, warm waves and no rocks.
A little further north is a very popular surfer’s beach called La Saladita. With Beachfront restaurants, stunning views and good tequila, La Saladita a unique hidden hideaway.
For a jolt of action, the bustling town of Zihuatanejohas myriad of shops, restaurants and attractions. One of the top rated restaurants is Carmilita’s which serves authentic regional Mexican cuisine.
Of particular note are the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, the trio of quesadillas in handmade tortillas, pork ribs and the largest chille relano known to man.
The Mexican Rivera is a wonderfully friendly, affordable and delicious vacation destination.

I never went to mexico until Jillian decided to celebrate my 30th birthday in all inclusive resort at Riviera Maya, Mexico. This is an experience of Mexican hospitality where people work hard to please their guests.
What we learn from media is not always true. Mexico is a wonderful country with so much love, ancient history, rich culture.
we visited multiple resorts at Cancun and Riviera Maya. EL Dorado Casitas, Zoetry, Paraiso De La Bonita, Asul Beach Resort, EL Dorado Maroma were few of the resort we stayed at and had a chance for site inspection.
