JULY 2017 -
On this trip to Munich, Germany, rather than staying in a hotel, we decided to rent an Airbnb apartment in a local neighborhood in Munich. The prices are not cheap in Germany, but I think in comparison to what you get for a hotel room, it's still a very good value. I was with my wife, my wife's sister, and our baby Micah.
In this Munich apartment tour, I walk you through the apartment. It's just a 1 bedroom apartment, but it's really spacious and would be very comfortable living for a single or couple.
One thing I love most about living in Germany or renting an apartment in Munich / Germany, is that German design and the awareness of natural light in the house. During the day, you don't need to use any electricity for lighting.
Thank you for watching, I hope this gives you an idea about accommodation options in Munich, Germany if you plan to visit or to live in Germany.

Living in Germany- Bavaria in Winter: Neuschwanstein Castle & Munich
A short video tour of the Neuschwanstein Castle and Munich in Germany. It was my first-time in the German state of Bavaria. In the winter it was like a snowy fairytale!
Third Reich Walking Tour - Munich, Germany (March 2010)
Munich - Neuschwanstein Castle
How to do a 1-day trip to see the stunning Neuschwanstein Castle:
I usually book a group tour to lessen the hassle and save time and energy looking and searching around. Below are the details:
1. On the tour day, head to the Main Train Station of Munich ( Hauptbahnhof ) - Opposite Platform 32. Look for Radius Tours Office and book for the tour. This can also be done a day before your preferred date or online. Specific Inquiries Radius Tours +49895434877740 -
2. Inclusions & Exclusions Tour:
*Entrance fees to the Neuschwanstein Castle are not included.
*A supplement of 14 Euros (per person) is payable direct.
* This guided tour includes advance booking so you can skip long lines and gain quick access to the Neuschwanstein Castle.
*Taking photos inside the castle is not allowed.
*If you wish to book the tour with Spanish live guide, it must be confirmed at the time of the booking.
3. Mode of transportation depends on the season. We had a private couch which is pretty comfy.
*January - April : by Train
*May - October 15th : by Private Coach
*October 16th - November : by Train
*December : by Private Coach
4. Once you are at the drop-off points, you have the option to hike for 1+ hrs or ride the bus going uphill for 2 Euros - 1 way. The pathway is concrete and has a lot of tress hence its refreshing foe the hike. But i did the hike and ride the bus going down.
5. Please note that the info above wont be accurate and updated at the time of your travel.
6. I wish the photos i uploaded can give more justice to the beauty of the castle and the surroundings. Enjoy Guys ????????
Interior of Peterskirche, Munich, Germany
The interior of Peterskirche in Munich is dominated by the high altar to which Erasmus Grasser contributed the figure of Saint Peter. Among other masterpieces of all periods are five Gothic paintings by Jan Polack and several altars by Ignaz Günther. The ceiling fresco by Johann Baptist Zimmermann (1753–56) was restored in 1999-2000.

We tour Burg Eltz — a lived-in castle where the noble lady still puts out fresh flowers. Then we enter the walled town of Rothenburg for Germany's best wood carving, a vivid dose of medieval punishment, and a tour with the night watchman of the town's lamp-lit ramparts.

MUNICH APARTMENT ROOMTOUR - 1 Room Studio apartment (HOUSE TOUR)
Finding an accomodation in Munich is tougher than finding a job here. Out of desparation, often new immigrants settle for a space that they go on to complain about in the future.
I have tried giving you an idea of what a 1 Room Studio apartment looks like in Munich. It is also called as a 1 Zimmer apartment. It should be enough for a Bachelor or a single person who has moved to the city and looking to cut down on immediate costs. Housing is a very expensive market in Germany, and for new comers, often 2Room apartment or higher is not an option.
On the other hand, a furnished 1Room apartment might just be the apt option for you as it comes with all furnishings that you require till you settle down completely and also gives you time to save up money that you can later utilise when you move into a bigger home and buy new stuff.

Location where I rented the apartment: Unterfohring

Deposit I paid: €500
Total space: 30 SQM.

Heidelberg, Germany, the Complete Tour
Heidelberg is one of the prettiest and best-preserved towns in all of Germany, set in picture postcard perfection alongside the Neckar River, with a classic castle towering above. Filled with Old World charm, it’s almost like a fantasy version of an ancient German town, or something dreamed up by Disney -- but this is the real thing. Heidelberg’s historic center of picturesque early 18th century buildings, about one mile long and four blocks wide, is an ideal-sized pedestrian zone to explore on foot.
Heidelberg movie chapters; ;
00:01 introduction; 2:39 Marktplatz (Marketplace); 8:43 Hauptstrasse; 13:48 University of Heidelberg; 19:43 Bismarkplatz; 23:32 Castle; 44:21 Philosopher’s Walk; 54:52 Boat Ride; 1:05:05 Walk little lanes; 1:22:27 hotel and restaurants;
In this detailed movie we are taking you in depth for a complete look at Heidelberg. Of course we will take you to the most historic landmark of Heidelberg, the castle up on the hill, one of the most famous and beautiful in Europe. We will show you how to get up there and then we’ll take a walk in the garden and show you how to get down.
But first we’re going to explore the city itself, it has an amazing pedestrian zone filled with restaurants, shops, historic structures and always busy with lots of people.
We’ll go for a walk along the main street o lf town the Hauptstrasse, then we’ll explore the little side streets as well and we’ll take a stroll on the Philosophers Walk up on the hill overlooking the city with great views looking back at the town We’ll take a boat ride on the Neckar River all the way up to Necharsteinach and back, with many practical tips including a survey of the restaurants of town and we’ll visit the University of Heidelberg, the oldest in Germany.
