[4K UHD] Hot Summer Day at Wreck Beach, Vancouver, BC
Wreck Beach (Squamish: Ts’ats’lhm) is a popular clothing-optional beach located in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, which is in turn part of the University Endowment Lands just west of Vancouver, British Columbia (UBC), Canada. During the summer months, the beach is often packed with people of all ages. The clothing-optional section is clearly marked with signs and stretches approximately 6.7 kilometres or 4.2 miles from Acadia Beach, in the north, to the Booming Grounds Creek on the north arm of the Fraser River. The park is administered by the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), though aboriginal claims are repeatedly asserted, especially by the Musqueam.
The recorded footage was filmed on June 28, 2016 with the iPhone 6s Plus. 4k with the phone is like no other.

PRE-ORDER TODAY:
A collection of 120 paintings by renowned artist Ross Penhall that celebrates the identity and spirit of Vancouver. Also included are paintings of inspirational places across Canada, the US and Europe, including the California Coast, the Prairies and the Italian countryside.
Ross Penhall's Vancouver combines stunning imagery, tribute and personal history to create a portrait of the city through an artist's eyes. Ross Penhall was born and raised in Vancouver, where he has had two separate and successful careers as a fire captain and now as an internationally recognized painter. Visitors and residents alike will look at Vancouver in a new way after they see it from Ross' unique perspective. Whether it's a row of hedges on the corner of someone's yard or the cascading rocks at Spanish Banks, Ross finds endless inspiration in the city where he lives.
In addition to paintings of Vancouver, there is a chapter on Surrounding Areas that focuses on the scenery of the Interior, Vancouver Island and Coastal British Columbia. The final chapter, Places That Inspire, includes paintings of the Pacific Northwest of the United States, the Canadian Prairies and landscapes from Ross' travels abroad.

Things to do in Vancouver and how to enjoy your Vancouver time and Vancouver weather
Things to do in Vancouver and how to enjoy your Vancouver time and Vancouver weather
Vancouver is the largest metropolitan area in Western Canada, and third largest in Canada, with a population of 2.6 million. Located at the southwestern corner of the coastal province of British Columbia, it is well known for its majestic natural beauty, as it is nestled between the Coast Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It is frequently ranked as one of the best cities to live in and is certainly a beautiful destination to visit.
Vancouverites broadly split their city into three: the Westside, the Eastside (or East Van) and city centre. This split is simply geography: everything west of Ontario St is the Westside, everything east is East Vancouver and everything north of False Creek is the city centre. Each of these areas have their own attractions and neighbourhoods, so time permitting, explore as many as you can. The areas in the city of Vancouver are frequently confused with the separate cities of North Vancouver and West Vancouver. North Vancouver and West Vancouver are north of Burrard Inlet and are not part of the city of Vancouver itself. Districts of Vancouve includes :
City Centre
Stanley Park and the West End
Gastown-Chinatown
Yaletown-False Creek
Kitsilano & Granville Island
UBC-Point Grey
Mt Pleasant-South Main
Commercial Drive-Hastings Park
Vancouver South
With the exception of Victoria, Vancouver has the mildest climate of any major city in Canada; even palm trees can (and do) grow here. It rains a lot in Vancouver, especially during the winters, but during the summer months Vancouver gets less rain than most other Canadian cities. During the winter months it can go weeks without seeing the sun or a dry day, but the temperature rarely goes below freezing. Heavy snowfalls are common in the nearby mountains, but unusual in the city itself and lead to major traffic congestion when snow accumulates. The weather in Vancouver is similar to the southern UK, and weather is similar to Seattle's. In the early summer the days often start out cloudy, due to marine air, but becomes clear by noon. Contrary to Vancouver's wet reputation, during the summer it is actually the second driest major Canadian city (after Victoria). Summer temperatures are not extreme, the typical day time high between June and August is around 24-25°C (75-77°F) away from the immediate seaside cooling effect.
The Vancouver Art Gallery is housed downtown in the neoclassical former courthouse built in 1906. The courthouse building was designed by Francis Rattenbury, who also designed the British Columbia Parliament Buildings and the Empress Hotel in Victoria, and the lavishly decorated second Hotel Vancouver. There are several modern buildings in the downtown area, including the Harbour Centre, the Vancouver Law Courts and surrounding plaza known as Robson Square (designed by Arthur Erickson) and the Vancouver Library Square (designed by Moshe Safdie and DA Architects), reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome, and the recently completed Woodward's building Redevelopment (designed by Henriquez Partners Architects).

Say it with us! šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square
On June 18 2018, the City of Vancouver, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) announced šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square as the new name for the plaza on the north side of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
